thinking about buying a vr headset

Virt-A-Mate is the only good realistic one but it requires a lot of tinkering. It's 100% user made content. And requires you to go searching through a database of mods and can be a huge pain to set up and use.

If you want something anime styled, all of the recent Illusion games support VR as do the Custom Maid games.

Wild Life has some potential but it's a Patreon game, so it will never be complete. Everything else is pretty shit to be honest. VR porn is still in its early stages.

Yeah, VR fapping is surely exciting and interesting, but I'd rather spend the money on sextoys if I had to make the decision again.

Virt-A-Mate is ass to setup as Demondice says. There's a package called Easy Mate but to do any amount of customization requires a bunch of reading.

Waifu Sex Simulator, Villain Simulator, Fallen Doll and Koikatu (Illusion games in general) are all fun, but it kinda ends there.
I don't think it's currently worth the pricetag. The novelty wore off kinda quick for me.

I have Oculus Quest 2 and I can recommend based on my experience, Koikatsu, Custom Maid 3D2 and Custom Order Maid 3D2 for anime style. Honey Select 2 libido DX ,Operation Lovecraft and VR Kanojo (aweasome but too short) for a realistic view. I plan to test Virt-a-Mate too it looks good.

Also if you like MMD then you need to play Waifu Sex Simulator. There are mods that make Koikatsu and Honey Select to work like MMD, both games have an separeted launcher that is used to make scenes, animations and you can make the characters dance too it's aweasome to enjoy this in VR.

I know you are searching for a good sex sim but check out Half Life Alyx too it's a amazing experience for everyone with a VR headset.

Universal unreal engine VR mod coming soon, so any game that's made in Unreal Engine can be enjoyed in VR (although the gameplay will still be strictly desktop based, not motion controller based - unless it's a VR game made in UE).

Still, stuff like Soulstice, Kingdom Hearts, FF7R, etc will be playable in VR - which is quite exciting!
