redeyesandlonghair Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Hey guys, I've been going around, googling, posting on forums, desperately trying to get someone anyone to explain to me what I have to change in my enb settings to make nights realistically dark. Currently, my nights are stupidly bright, and I hate it. I want bright sunny days, and dark dark nights. So does anyone know and would take a moment to tell me how I can do that?
woodenstick Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 You could try making a few changes to the enbseries.ini file. Not quite sure the exact line that you need to change but there should be different brightness settings for day/night.
redeyesandlonghair Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 I tried messing with enbsettings.ini, but everytime I tried to change something that seemed related... nothing even happened in game >_<
Phelps1247 Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 One of these has dark nights: http://www.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38811/ http://www.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38805/ I don't know which because I don't like dark nights and deleted it and just didn't like the other one better than what I've got already so they're both gone.
Bootaka Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 try playing with these to start [sKY] StarsIntensity= AuroraBorealisIntensity= [ENVIRONMENT] AmbientLightingIntensityNight= when you get those near where you want, then start with the Curves and Desaturations. Clouds are in there too. Ambient - overall illumination Point - torches and candles Specular - glosssyness Direct - uhh idk lol
redeyesandlonghair Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 I tried all of those.. even tried turning them down as far as I could...the darkness didn't even change slightly. Wondering if there's something wrong with my enb...
redeyesandlonghair Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 Okay just found out the wierdest thing. THe exterior values don't change anything. However, the Interior values seem to adjust it for both interiors and exteriors...weird but I'll take it \( O _ o)/
GECK.O Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 @redeyesandlonghair There are two ways to do that, one from enbseries.ini and enbeffect.fx. ENBSERIES.INI: DirectLightingXXXNight=x.x (moon light) AmbientLightingXXXNight=x.x (ambient/shadow brightness) ENBEFFECT.FX it's the post processing engine, the core engine of the ENB. Each ENB setting use different processing engine.
