Looks like for now my saves are ruined.

I made the mistake of downloading's more presets even though I was quite happy with the current looks.

Then the requirements for them had to be installed also.

 

And now I have the dark face issue.

 

It has come up before in recent days .

but that as rare and usually easy to fix with a save and reload.

Any suggesttions?

I disabled and/r unistalled all the skin mods and presets I put on today

Working on uninstalling all of the additions from today

Alright, all fixed.

uninstalled all new skins and presets,

stopped game,

logged in and out of steam

restarrted computer.

 

Face are normal again.

 

PS: Is it always a crime if I shoot Mr. Long and mama Murphy?

Its not the kind of charcter I am playing but....

They start their crazy talk in the middle while I am trying to give birth.

The Dark face is usually because of 4k on 2k or otherwise mismatch on textures.    Remember when i told you to save that stable profile?   This is why.     You should have three profiles: 1) stable and saved (this one has been loaded and exited normally after saving several times), 2) Clean save profile  and 3) testing.   

 

A clean save profile is where you remove a mod, load up the game and then save it without the mod you just removed.      As you have been ripping mods in and out, I suspect you have a few dirty files (or files that are no longer used but still in the Data folder causing issues).

So you mean saving under 3 different names?
