Andrea0006 Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 Hello, I need some help please. Im very confused about this different sizes. I can and i want wo play the most in 4K. But there are so many different posts to this topic, and i still dont have a game (graphics) that i want to play. Maybe My mods are to different?! But i want to play at the max. what the game and the engine can give me. One issue is this fck black face bug. I have bodys in 4K and all other stuff too, ive tried skin in 8K but still is something not like it seems to be... Can someone tell me please, what will work together?! I have a male player...
steelpanther24 Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 This may help you (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21907) but more importantly you should read the mod description as it describes some of the issues you are facing. While this mod has not been updated, it essentially gives you the clues on what to double check in your load out. If you don't find the issue, then one old fashion way of fixing brown face/no eyebrows is to save often. This is the approach I use as I have some texture mods I am unwilling to give up or build a mod patch for. 1
Andrea0006 Posted August 1, 2022 Author Posted August 1, 2022 doesnt work. I dont know... I also dont understand why modders dont make a all in one solution with a full human mod. Skeleton, skin, face, hairs, hands and so on. At time it feels like a stupid puzzle thats have to get put together and nothing fit.
almond93 Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 Black face is almost always caused by conflicting resolutions between the Face Textures and the Tint Masks Textures. Tint Masks are everything that goes on the face. Scars, eyelashes, makeup, eyebrows, tattoos, moles, freckles, blemishes, lips, lipstick, eyeliner. Everything. Tint Masks are basically everything on the face except for the eyes. How do you fix? You need to have both your face textures and your tint masks be the same resolution. So if you have a 2k face you need 2k tint masks. If you have a 1k face (Vanilla resolution) you need 1k textures. You probably have a mod like "Looks Menu Customization Compendium" which adds 1k face textures mixed with a 2k face mod. If you can't figure it out on your own then post your modlist and I will help you out. 1
