Can someone help me edit a mod script? Mod in question: Crime and Punishment (CAP)

So i don't know how or where to start, but there's an effect for player solicitation in Crime and Punishment (CAP) that makes it so that all enemies in the game are non-hostile while wearing the solicitation ring. I'd like to change that, I don't care if enemies are hostile because of other mods that can change that. Does anyone know how or where to begin with an edit like that?
