Is a sex mod (such as SexLab for Skyrim) possible for Cyberpunk?

Recommended Posts

I'm just wondering if sex mods such as the ones that seem to have been made for most Bethesda games (such as Skyrim's SexLab or Fallout 4's AAF) are/ever will be possible for Cyberpunk 2077. Are modders even able to create custom animations for this game, let alone design an entire sex system like in SexLab? Is such a thing already in the works? I've seen a lot of adult-ish mods out there, such as skimpier clothing or body mods, but I haven't really seen any straight-up sex stuff, like being able to engage in sex with NPCs on the street. I'm fairly naive when it comes to the modding scene, so I was wondering what the case is for this game. Is a SexLab-like mod impossible for Cyberpunk? Does the engine simply not allow it? Just curious is all, and would like to be enlightened if anyone's knowledgeable on the matter.

The Bethesada games are pretty unique by allowing more or less unfettered access to modders. The most anyone can do with most games is exactly the sorts of things you mentioned.

in short, don't hold your breath for anything more anytime soon.

There is also more hope now, for a SexLab like mod Framework (i think)
With update 1.6 CDPR released official Mod Tools that have also animation support
as far as i do follow the modding in one of the discards.

So... give it some time, i presume sooner or later the mods will roll in.

Now that the REDmod tool is out, if someone ever makes a sex mod they better call it Cyberspunk or else I'm going to be sorely disappointed.

Question still is, are the mod devs here interested in adopting Cyberpunk and make a SexLab like Framework for it.
Mommy Slaanesh knows CP77 rly needs that, the setting alone is perfect for that.

I like porn mods in games. I consider porn an art. I'm not interested in life without porn. I respect everyone who does it in real life, not forced, of course, or creates modifications. If someone starts creating mods for cyberpunk, I can even suck his dick. I think that games are very lacking in porn mods.. I hate censorship..

Possible, yes. Going to happen, a resounding no.

The Cyberpunk games RED engine is vastly more difficult to work with than Skyrims Creation engine.

With Bethesdas releasing of the Creation Kit tool, Skyrim has both a broader fan base and larger modding base. Along with the plethora of reasonably user-friendly fan made tools, and documentation made for the game, enabling even novice modders the ability to create and redesign what they wanted in their game.

CDPR has only managed to portion out a couple of very basic programs, and those not enabling access to the games core.  I'm actually surprised at the quality of the current tools that the tool designers have been able to make already, giving us the ability to alter as much as we have.

The majority of knowledgeable modders, that have a good grasp on the mechanics of the game, don't frequent Lovers Lab and have directed their efforts elsewhere. All you need to do is look at what has been accomplished with Witcher series to get a good idea as to what we can expect for Cyberpunks future.  We might get static images or closed loop animation scenes sometime in the distant future, but with animation being one of the more difficult aspects of creating mods, without tools, controllable animations are currently a pipe dream and low on the priority list.

If i had a nickel for everytime a person who said "Never, impossible" proven wrong...

Everyone knows what everyone knows already, you repeating that serves no purpose other than discouraging anyone new who might be willing to contribute. Its almost as if you dont want it to happen.

I dont think its the technical limitations only that keeps people from making mods, sure it could be easier but its not something that can stop it if people really want it. Alot of people spend 300+ hours working on their mod like a root growing thru asphalt. It will take time but eventually people get over the tech limitations if they have the passion.

The Witchers little amounts of mods has more to do with the fact that its a very bad fundament to build on since it doesnt even feature basic necessities like character creation. All the quests and armors revolve around a male protagonist that you would have to mute and edit all dialog that mentions his gender ect. You would have to do so much work to build up that base before you even could start "modding" its all a giant clusterfuck.

Cyberpunk is a totally different story, you already have loads of designed for female assets and Night City will stay the best urban map in the entire gaming industry for atleast another 10 years and is fenomenal base for all kinds of roleplay mods. The biggest manko it has is the the lack of 3rd person as a base functionality, right now you can only walk and jogg with the third person mod without the animations bugging around ,all the combat animations are broken. However you can spawn an npc version of yourself that always copies what you are wearing or holding in your hand and animate it like a normal npc. However, a year ago there was a Job listing open at CDPR for a camera programmer with experience in creating real time 3rd person perspective cameras, which means chances are high that a proper 3rd person is planned to be added to the basegame.

We have the Hyst body which is basicly like CBBE for Cyberpunk and virtual aterlier that allows you to have your own shops in the ingame internet where modders make their items available without console commands. We can spawn things and npcs, position and turn them, select animations for them. All we need now is custom animations and a script that positions them automatically. We are slowly getting there.
