The Future of Damsels in Distress

There are many more mods I want to make, especially for the series Damsels in Distress. Don't worry, this is not some tragic apology or farewell, I just wanted to discuss some thangs. While the random users with random issues caused or not caused by my mods but still blamed are really really not fun, I want to keep modding. But with my new job I find it a lot harder to find the time to make these mods as I'm working 36 hours a week not to mention how draining it is to push myself to get progress on these mods done especially when I just don't want to work on certain projects anymore. I want to be done with DiD0 but I know it needs more polish. DiD1 I don't think there is much more to do and DNiD0 I want to make an interior space within the hotsprings to put all the girls in but it's just really not a very high priority. I still need to update the SFW version of DiD0 and I want to make yet another inbetween of it for those that don't use sexlab but still want to rescue damsels and for it to still be sexy but this all just takes a great deal of time.

 

This is going somewhere, I promise this is more than me just venting. I am sussy baka. Skip to the end for the tldr punchline. 

I also wanted to share the ideas I have of future installments of Damsels in Distress. Keep in mind the titles of these presented ideas are place holder.

Providence in Chains and Carnal Lust

Providence in Chains would be the proper replacement for Sex Slaves for Vanilla Bandit Camps where it is just NPC women that you can rescue from 'civilized' villains all across Skyrim. You tell them you'll take them to safety or you can abuse them yourself. Drop them off somewhere else, maybe to your choice, or I can have some predetermined locations for them to hang out at and provide benefits to you like merchants. 

Carnal Lust on the other hand would be like the second half of it but handle all non civilized situations like Trolls, Falmer, Giants, anything considered a beast/animal by the game. Things like saving the sole survivor from a troll cave that's only still alive because the regenerating fucks decided they wanted a different kind of snack. Saving girls tied up in front of dragon dens to serve as sacrifices would probably go here.

 

This is where it finally starts getting interesting.

 

Perilous Roads

This would be a mod all about random encounters, where you can find random women being raped by the roads by bandits or being dragged around by them. The player can intervene and either save the poor womens or abuse them yourself because options. Other events include finding random naked women approaching you asking for help because they were recently assaulted. Escort them to a designated safe location or go kill the designated bandits. Or fuck her too. Another event is the before mentioned slave convoy where a woman or more is being dragged around by bandits or forsworn idk to a predetermined hostile location, which can be intercepted.

 

The Caged Rose

 

Duke of the Subjugated Keep

Setting; A mad Breton lord, whether banished or no from his homeland, has occupied a derelict fort deep in the wild and remote part of the Reach. He has hired a number of vagrants to act as his retainers and has declared himself the king of this hill. Doing this, he and his consorts began pillaging the reach for supplies and kidnapping women, locking them away inside his castle to serve as his slave brides and as rewards to his vagrant retainers. It will be up to the player to put an end to this mad king's reign.

 

Home Under Siege

There is a house deep in the woods where a widow and her (legally of age) daughter live, trying to eke out a living on their isolated little farm. This would all change when the woman's daughter would come back home with a stranger's knife around her neck. Two vagrants had captured the daughter and practically moved into their home, and under the constant threat of the daughter's life the mother had to comply with their ever demand. The bandits ate all of their food, sleep in their beds, and fuck them both whenever they like. This will change again however when the mother eventually meets the player.

 

When you meet the mother she will plea with you to rescue her daughter who is held captive in their own home. If you agree then the mother will distract the outside vagrant while you kill the inside or outside vagrant in either order. Once safe the mother and daughter will reward you however they can but they are poor and their supplies depleted so you can choose between being a white knight, a hot meal, and of course sex.

 

After that the player can still return to ask for more of their "family plan" in which the widow will get pissy and say that if you want any more of the previously provided services then you need to pay for it. You can pay to sleep at their house, pay for food, and pay for sex. This serves a greater purpose however as the more of their services you purchase the more favor you accumulate, and this favor is used to spawn new crisis events. After saving the family from the bandits you will need to save them from some lurking bandit scouts, a thalmor justicar, and another kidnapping. After the player has saved them all these times will the mother finally drop her reluctance and her doubts erased for their hero. Their services will be free from now on and both of them will be marriagable, Happily ever after the end.

Food Overhaul

I just want food to be useful yo, it's embarrassingly underpowered in this game. So I want to make it more like in ESO. How much has this type of mod already been done tho?

 

Animation Testing Cell

It seems like a silly idea that this doesn't already exist, but maybe I'm just spoiled by Zaz's furniture playground. I want to make a dungeon like thing not for fighting in but for stepping into and testing animations. It is already a hassle to find the IDs of giants or falmer or trying to get a specific type of humanoid BUT NO MORE! I want this dungeon to be a noah's ark of NPCs where you can go in, find the NPC you want, and test your animations. And let's be perfectly honest everyone's going to use it for sex animations. Don't worry about them fighting each other and you I know of a few things to try.

 

Ragnarok

This would be a very ambitious total overhaul of Skyrim's landscape. Not in a terraforming sense but in a... territory sense. It would be like if the Dragonborn hit the snooze button on their alarm clock and Skyrim fell into major ruin because they never emerged. Villages burned down, cities occupied, lots and lots of dead NPCs and removed quest opportunities. It would turn Skyrim into a very hostile and more difficult game where only a few bastions of civilization still stand. Markarth would be occupied by Forsworn, Morthal is taken over by Vampires, etc. And despite Skyrim being in the lowest it's ever been the civil war is still ongoing despite both factions being pushed back into their respective capitals. Oh and the dragons are already about.

 

tldr

I really really don't have the time for all of these, and I want to make a serious mod THAT ISN'T PORN so I can put it on my damned resume. Right now I can only point to DiD0 SFW and hope they don't notice the SFW part, and subsequently the NSFW part. The serious mod I want to make is a dungeon adventure with a quest, 6 marriagable followers, and a dungeon with 5 sub locations. It will be deep af and take a shit load of time but again my time is severely limited. I'm also not naming the project here or describing it to kill google searching. So I ask one thing of you all;

People have been asking for Elves and I'm willing to comply but I simply don't use elf makeover mods and the vanilla elves are really not worth getting off to above the collar bones. Also the only idea I have for an elf is an Orc woman naked Raka. I just don't know what to do for getting representation for the other Mer races.

This is an idea I'm very interested in, an underground slave brothel like the vanilla vampire-ran skooma den but for sex slaves. Several women have been captured and locked away in this hidden underground location where the bandits that run this place sell the use of their bodies. The player can pay to enter and fuck whoever they like however many times they like, or they can bash the bouncer's head and fight their way through it, defeating the scoundrels and their sexy kinky leader, conquering The Caged Rose. (That's the name of the brothel btw)

 

After defeating the sexy owner of the slave brothel the player can choose to set the slaves free, in which some will leave but others have gotten used to it and will work as harlots under the new management or you can take it over for yourself, or even a combination of the two. If you choose to be the new owner of this brothel you can choose if you want to have it renovated to look like like a dungeon and more like a comfortable living environment with proper walls, no cells, and better beds. Fucking your harlots will be free I think, but a girl's gotta earn a paycheck so nvm, and on top of all that as the new owner you get to skim off the top of the profits.

 

Mod will include 3 potential followers;

One of the slaves that begs you to buy her because she was bought by an ugly old man and you're the preferable alternative and now you can make her your servant.

The bouncer bitch who's face you bashed and she submitted to your will. She's spineless, but a bitch is better than no bitch. She'll be your new bouncer anyways.

And finally the previous owner, a hot lady who gets off to seeing women get dominated and is totally not immune to her own ass getting dominated. Beat her in a fight and the brothel is yours, she'll become your bitch out of the sheer respect and lust she has for your strength, and you can tell her to do things like strip naked whenever and wherever including in public and she'll enjoy it.

Fuck them all whenever you like as well.

I like the last option most, really sounds interesting, though Breton Mad king could also be good. It would also fit really well in Skyrim, I think.

Brothel seems like a lot of work, and there are also a few similar mods out there. Similar for Carnal Lust/Providence/Perilous roads.

As for Patreon, it's possible I would support, but honestly, I'd recommend to simply to do it ( if you want ) as your own passion project. Skyrim modders typically make very little from Patreon, and even with other adult content creators ( like adult VNs) there is a lot of competition and it usually takes years before it really starts earning you good profit ( in best case scenario). You usually need to work a lot, gain a name for yourself, create something with mass appeal, plus being good at marketing yourself. Even then it often takes some dumb luck.

Most modders or people who want to make a living from Patreon jump in hoping they'll quickly start earning money, and instead end up quitting.

If it helps, the 'Providence in Chains' idea is already being done for LE and SE: 'Sexy Bandit Captives'. It's still being worked on, but is about 80-90% there. You'd just be making an alternative version of something that already exists. If your time is short, I'd go for something else.

 

Perilous Roads sounds cool, but I suspect the scripting and testing would be a nightmare. Of the other ideas, I like 'Caged Rose' the best. It doesn't sound so ambitious it would take years to complete, and is probably the best pick for somebody with limited time.

 

Just pick one, and run with it. If time is short, pick the smallest one, or the one that's most important to you (I suspect your big SFW quest). Unfortunately, I'm not in a position where I could donate on a regular basis, but I know all too well what it's like to be working on personal projects around a full time job. I've been doing that for about 20 years now.

Carnal Lust's themes, however, are not included in the fairly limited scope of Sexy Bandit Captives. And that would be one that I would definitely be interested in. SBC is limited exclusively to scenarios involving Bandits, and as such is merely a fraction of even the scenarios covered in Damsels, though admittedly in a much larger quantity. But I for one would prefer well thought out variety over moderately repetitious quantity.

I was specifically talking about Providence in Chains, but yes, Carnal Lust would make a great companion mod. Another thing SBC doesn't touch is Forsworn camps, so there's an opening there to avoid any overlap.

As for what I plan to do in the future, Home Under Siege interests me, Duke of the Subjugated Keep doesn't anymore, Ragnarok would be very ambitious and does interest me. Perilous Roads is intriguing. Something to populate the rest of skyrim with sex slaves is feasible but I could likely do that by modifying an existing mod to be feature complete.
