Missing file when the file isn't missing

Recommended Posts

So I have Wicked Whims, and Wonderful Whims both downloaded on my pc. Both of them have been installed correctly, and yet only Wonderful Whims works. Wicked tells me that im missing the ts4 file, when the file is in the folder that comes with the mod. I've tried reinstalling the mod several time, ive tried putting the files directly into the mods folder, and ive tried deleting my local thumb cache. None of these are working, so im expecting this to be some sort of compatibility issue.

In terms of other mods I have

  1. Basemental
  2. Meaningful stories
  3. MCCC
  4. T.O.O.O
  5. Better build buy
  6. UI Extension
  7. And I have a few Kawaii Stacie mods

I also have 20,000+ CC, but I find it hard to believe that those would be the problem.

short question:

why do you have Wicked and Wonderful Whims installed? ;)
both do the same, one only without "adult" content...

and that is you problem - you have Wicked and Wonderful installed - that causes the error

just remove Wonderful Whims and it will work fine

just in case... delete both, Wicked and Wonderful - remove the localthumbcache file, and re-download/re-install Wicked Whims - and BOOM, you got a working game ;)

Thank you for the help. It was driving me crazy lol. As for why I had both, I thought that they were different enough from each other that there wouldn't be any issue. And given that I couldn't find any information on the Whims website saying that they weren't compatible, I kind of just assumed that they were.
