Quick question: I this standalone from the original Onean mod, or is this a patch to put on top to alter her appearance but keep the original content?

I have another question, If I want to run this next to Onean Definitive could I just rename the esp (like Follower Onean 2) and drop the files in the data folder? There's no scripts referencing the esp so I think that would be ok? Also, can I drop a custom skin (instead of my character's) into Onean's Data/Texture/Actor/Onean folder and her use that instead of the Data/Texture/Actor/Character/Female skin?

Edited to add I just noticed the fairy stuff refers to scripting. I presume that will get jacked up just renaming the esp. Is there an easy way to edit this without using Creation Kit? I opened CK lst night to try to get acquainted with it and was a bit overwhelmed.

 

Turns out the mod manager still recognizes this as the original Onean's esp name after just renaming it and repacking it. I was going to load it after with an override but that will likely jack up all Onean Definitive scripting and voicing I'd think.

Thanks for responding. Doing that Vortex says there is a conflict. If I tell Vortex to load Onean42 after Onean definitive won't that jack up Onean Definitives scripts?

I forgot

If you change textures, you need to set the path of textures pointing to your folder.

In xedit and nif's.

Also, the headnif's need to be changed.

The bodyslide files, those you can open with editor must point to the new esp.

Hang on, I will do this, maybe tomorrow. But I will not include textures, You need to copy in your textures then.

Ok, I appreciate that. I'll check out xedit to see if that's more within my capabilities for future experiments.

New esp name.

you need to copy your textures into:

textures\actors\onean\body42

all textures, head, hands, body, etc files.

 

what overwrites doesn't matter, like brows, eyes. those are the same as old Onean.

So, I'm trying out the mod, for prosperity, and basically trying to see if I can overwrite the Onean follower body with the Onean 3BA body from your mod. The results are,.. mixed.

 

Her body looks fine... until she takes her clothes off...

 

 

After that she becomes a bat-like creature with breast wings. I guess this wasn't the intent for your mod to be used this way, but could the 3BA body be used over the body of the original mod??

This mod is not for overwrite but standalone..

But fixing the skin issue is easy. My mod does not conatain a skin.

So just overwrite the original mod's skin.

 

But the benefit is 0.

Better remove old.

Or use the one here in the post, it's a differently named esp.

 

If you just want to replace the skeleton, you also need to replace the original skin.

 

Original skeleton -> unp based -> skin unp based

3BA skeleton -> skin cbbe based.

You cannot mix those, or you will have the result as you showed.

I have 1500+ mods and responsibly declare that of all the new mechanics and other mods, Onean is my favorite.

Then, when I tried to fix everything, I realised too much work, better make a light version for myself.
