Description

After not having played or modded Skyrim for a while, I restarted a Draenei playthrough, for which I will most likely start creating some mods which I decided to share here.
Therefore, the mods I post here are created for my own playthrough and will most likely not be anything breathtaking like very basic texture mods or bodyslide adjustments.

If I find cool mods to recommend on the side, I might post them here as well

I will not take any specific mod requests. There won't be LE versions!
Suggestions, bugfixes or even overhauls for my mods are appreciated (as long as they are kept inside of the forum, which I will skim through occasionally).

If you like my character depicted in some of the screenshots, I could post a bodyslide preset, but I will not post a modlist.

If you want to use any of these mods in your own projects, by all means be my guest (credit would be nice, but not necessary).

Requirements

For these mods to work, you will the following mods:

1. SkyDraenei Race by Eraiyai
2. SkyDraenei CBBE 3ba & Diamond Skin Retexture (is in the Optional section) by Aykiro
3. !! LOAD MY MODS AFTERWARDS, SINCE THEY OVERWRITE STUFF !!

 

 

Current Mods

• Horse Penis Redux SSE retexture for SkyDraenei Diamond Skin (HPR required!) - Shaven and not seamless, but good enough!

 

 

!! IMPORTANT !!

When this mod gets installed, it will overwrite the general texture files of this mod. This will cause will cause mismatches on the other race, even if

Diamond Skin CBBE is installed, because Draenei have a unique body texture.

 

 

• Shaven SkyDraenei

          Highly recommended to install this together with the HPR-Retexture when using a gender swapping character, since the base texture has pubes.

 

 

• Modification to FAMOUS by ScrollTron1c - Muscle normalmap retexture and modifiable GIMP compatible with SkyDraenei

         There will be a plug-and-play version of this mod that can be installed directly. It contains the normalmap I use to retexture the muscles on my character (see picture "Main").

         The other version consists of a GIMP file that has been changed such that is can generate normalmaps for SkyDraenei. When generating your own normalmaps, please refer to the

         original modpage (see FAMOUS), which provides a How-To Guide. 

 

 

Installation

• Either chuck it into a mod organizer (I use MO2) and let it do its thing
• Or install it manually by extracting the .7z and inserting the Data folder into your Skyrim folder

 

 

What could possibly be posted in the future

• Hoof to leg textures
• Bodyslide presets and armor adjustments so that they stay in line with Draenei skeleton
• An update of the recommendation list

Do you think we might see PC Vampire lord mods / vampire mods / werewolf mods which use SkyDraenei some day? Or is it wholely incompatible?

I don't think I'll personally mod these since its not in the scope of my playthrough, sorry. I'm pretty sure, that out of your selection, the only new mod anyone would be interested to make would be a Vampire Lord mod that makes your Draenei somehow turn into a vampire lord.

Otherwise there are already really good vampire and werewolf mods around already, that just implement themselves scriptbased (SFW and NSFW).

I guess, if you want more of that Werewolf feeling during combat, you could run unarmed with Feral - Claw Unarmed Attacks together with the Chinese JiangShi claws (maybe even edit the textures of those to fit your character).
The only mods I could consider making would be to mod teeth with bigger canines or the Jiangshi claw retexture, but I dunno if I'm gonna do that.

For tattoos, I'm using all 3 of the Community Overlays (Make sure you use the patch in the 3rd one to stop CTDs on hitting a specific tattoo).
While writing this, I'm not exactly sure how all of the tattoos are called, but I'm using the Faedis (I think that's what they were called) for the Arm and Leg fade effect, the rest are somewhere in the Mod mentioned above.

@IamGreatBoy I do not think so, since the skydraenei uses some weird UNP texturing with a different tint. You can try, but I doubt that it would work out that great.

No problem I was probably going to use you mods anyway, but I don't really feel like starting a new game. I know I can use racemenu but sometimes downloading mods or deleting mods on a current save bugs it out.
