joethebeast Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 I'm trying to install this NPC replacer: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/29248 The problem is: If there is another mod that changes the same NPC, it will get a black face. Is there any way around this? Or any way to delete the duplicates? Thanks!

For example, if running with the Bijin replacers(or any other similar mod), ensuring another mod's plugin(likely a custom rule in LOOT if it isn't already sorted after) and mesh/texture assets load after Bijin(likely with MO or Vortex, etc), then this means you get the proper appearance of any relevant NPCs from the second mod. The only issue might be if you have either one or more NPCs that you might want from either mod, and if anything added to said NPCs(outfit/weapon changes, etc), then you'll likely need to make a patch for the mods in SEEdit.

The problem is that it doesn't matter the load order. The black face occurs in both cases, if changes are made to the same NPC. It looks like I know nothing about modding this game. The plugin list order was different from the mod load order list, this is the first time LOOT let me down.
