Uploading gifs for previewing my content, big issue

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Whenever I try to update my content, when I add gifs, I always have some issues. They upload fine but when I save my update, it gives me an error page 504 error getaway.

How does others creators upload their gifs without issues? My gifs are heavily compressed (less than 20MB, sometimes a 19 MB goes through without issues while a 14MB does not).

Also I saw that I have been restricted uploading gifs without any warning or message. If it continues I will just leave and find somewhere else to upload my content because it's a big loss of time for me. All my gifs has been removed for some reasons.

EDIT I managed to add back my gifs and all. But still, I got this issue a lot so if there's a way to avoid it, I'll be glad to know

Be aware you cannot have a big pic animated in your signature, it is against our rune #4:

Forum signatures should not be larger than 250 pixels high or 600 pixels wide. They must not contain any affiliate links, or links to paysites, and must be static (no gif). Signatures are allowed to contain pornographic content, as long as it is not anything deemed hardcore, which is up to the judgement of the site staff. A certain amount of leeway in regards to signature sizes or avatars is allowed here, the most important thing is to simply not make your signature overly intrusive or distracting.
