I've had this problem with sabercat of a very long time and never found a solution for it.

 

Basically, after a sabercat attack which either stuns of knocks out my character, my character does the slow-mo knock down and end up perpendicular to the ground, either on, in, or a few feet above it.

 

The sabrecat animation (if any) will play out (pc doesn't activate) then the character is stuck in place, sometimes in a walking animation. reload doesn't fix the problem and enables control doesn't work.

 

I am usually aware of sabercats, but sometimes get surprised and then the problem happens and I go looking for a fix and never find anything that works.

 

This happens everytime the character gets send flying and only with the sabercat (as far as I know). If the character goes into the kneeldown state everthing plays out normally.

 

So if anyone knows anything about this problem or what sabercat attck sends the player flying, please let me know.

Do you have a mod list?  I don't think that is vanilla behavior and I do not remember being sent flying by anything but giants and werewolves.  If you don't have any mods specific to cats, maybe you have a knockdown mod that adds something to them, or some other kind of ragdoll mod?

I edited the 1st post including my modlist, printed  out of order  by MO2

 

As far as I can tell, when I get hit by a sabercat, the amount of damage puts me into either a dead state or stun state.

 

I've a bunch of different mods to control or disable killcams, so you go directly to the death animation, same as jumping off a cliff.

 

Yep, its tied to player death. I dl a couple of no death mods, ashes and a older one. ashes still got the 'dead state' lock but the old one which stripped your item and you revived worked.

 

 

Guess I have to remember to set the tim command.  with tim enabled, you go the kneeling bleedout and the animation play out correctly. PITA though

Are the kill mods just anim replacers or do any have MCM options? If you could disable some of them in game (as opposed to uninstalling them or disabling them via MO) that might help you narrow down what is doing it.

 

Do you think a saber cat should kill you in one pounce or is that damage increased somehow?

One of the problems is probably because I run a mod by caden that increases  enemies with very high levels regardless of level.

 

In this case, the sabercat is at lvl 200 vs lvl 1. So I think the damage dealt by the pounce sends the pc directly in the dead animation, that hollow sound gets play then the slal animation starts but the player is miss aligned. after the animation is over, the pc in stuck in place somestime at a 45 or 90 angle.

 

I've gone a got attacked by a giant.  club smash, pc kneels and the animations plays. It only seems to be the sabercat.

 

The killmods were installed after the problem too see if they could change the death animation for a bleedout. The newer ones have mcm but nothing worked.

 

the one I've used and retained is    No Killmoves - No Killcams - No Killbites.

The idea, one hit kill, you get stuck in an animation loop.

Start another animation, like draw weapon, shead several times, even if it does not react.

 

 

 

Don't remember. Have test it that, pretty sure everything gets locked up.

 

Been messing with my enb because while trying to fix this problem I manage to make a new glitch.  Some creatures are now turning invisible as I approach them. yay! fucked up my hdt....?

 

Thought about it more and checked creature framework and all had been reset to a mod which I had removed the meshes......
