Inspired by PT the ComicFreak's White Splash I was looking for a domino mask. No joy, the best we could find was the Catwoman mask from apachii. This has an alarming tendency to drift away from the face during movement. I have attempted to fix that.

 

I've made this thread to pass back to PT what I've been dabbling with and thought I'd share it. It would be great if other modders improved on these and reposted them.

 

 

The Masks were created for the Lop Ear Head L-eE_Head003. #1 should fit snugly on the vanilla, #2 and #Rab are progressively tweaked to fit faces that protrude more.

 

 

 

I've used the smallshinyblack texture from apachii vinyl, and the Catwoman Mask gnd for a world model, and include them here for those that haven't got them.

 

In my game these move with the face without drifting. Please let me know if they don't behave properly if you use them.

Great work once again, Labrat! I especially like the bigger eyeholes that fit the Minis' bigger eyes perfectly.

This way, it looks much more like a super hero's mask. Considering the painful lack of GOOD masks, you have made a valuable addition to every x117 user's wardrobe. Now everyone can easily hide his Mini's identity WHILE STILL LOOKING GOOD.

Great for people with a mask fetish (like me)!

I will thoroughly test the masks tomorrow with those animations and poses that had the worst displacement effects. Practically every pose with a tilted or turned head was unusable due to the drifting mask. It gives me another reason to remake the comics with better graphics and now better equipment (I was planning that since I finally installed Qarl's and Bomret's texture packs about a week ago).
