Some Advice

Hi there, I just recently bought Skyrim with the latest updates not from steam, (I think) and I want to start modding it like Oblivion, but I don't know where to start. Since I come from Oblivion, I was wondering if there was any mod for Skyrim like XEO or MBP to make the characters from the game look more anime like, skin textures to make characters glossy, an equivalent manga body from Oblivion to Skyrim or DMRA, Lovers with pk equivalent, and that should be it.

Would anyone be ever so kind to recommend my any guide for all these mods I'm talking about (or their equivalent)

(Sorry if I commented in the wrong section)

Thanks in advance!!

As for body replacers, there are quite alot of different ones floating around.

The two major ones with the most armor support are UNP (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6709) and CBBE (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2666).

If you don't care that much about loads of armors there's also ADEC (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5390), CB++ aka CBBE for stuffed_bunny's extra sliders (http://www.loverslab.com/topic/15230-bodyslide-cb-v096-35-extra-sliders-for-cbbe-outfit-support/) which can be heavily customized via the bodyslide tool and alot of others on here.

Isn't there any guide out there? to start from scratch??.....

Body mods -- UNP or CBBE (and any of their variants) -- do require you first to install them manually (this also goes for hair, face, eye, neck, teeth, skin, skeleton, face/body paint and tattoo mods); installation procedures are found on their description pages.

Remember that the body mod is installed first before anything else.

And don't forget changing this setting in your skyrimprefs.ini (it's in My Games\Skyrim) by opening it in Notepad:

[Launcher]
bEnableFileSelection=1
