Thank you! For Alexander, i did receive a few requests to age him up. But then, i received some more requests to keep them in their original age. So yeah, i kept her as child.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but i cant find any answers related to this.

 

I downloaded them all and i applied it, and the only one i saw that changed was Rory i think her name was. but the rest still look like the vanilla ones. Did i do somethig wrong?

Hi. Have you enabled mods? Also, you need to replace townie makeovers yourself. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to make them appear in your game automatically. It has to be done manually (if this is the issue).

 

When you download a sim as .rar file and open it after download, you'll see a screen like this (photos are example):

 

 

? The files with 0x.... goes to your Tray folder, which is in the Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Tray

 

? After putting these into tray, open the Mods folder which is in the .rar file you've just downloaded.

 

You'll see a screen like this (photo is example):

 

 

? These files are package files and goes into your mods folder. Mods are located in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods

 

? Put these .package files into your mods folder. Then login to game.

 

? After that, you need to enable your Custom Content. How to do that?

 

? When you run your game, in the main menu, go to "Options" and then select "Other" from the options menu. Then, click "Enable" to "Enable custom content and mods".

 

? Finally, restart your game and when you are in Gallery, there is a button on the left side which says "Advanced > Include Custom Content" and that's it, they will show up. From there, you can search sims' names from above and place them to any household or start a new.

I doubt it's about something you've downloaded from me because i don't include default replacements into the download files. Are you sure you didn't get it from someone else's download file?

 

Either way, it's fairly simple to find the file. Download the sims4 tray importer from here if you don't have it already. Then, go to Create a Sim screen and save a male sim which has bikini you're talking about. Then, go to tray importer and find the male and click CC tab. Find the bikini file from there > right click > show containing folder. There, then delete it.

 

After trying to find it with tray importer, if you still can't fix it, post a photo please so we can try to move from there. But tray importer should work fine. Or you can name the sims you have downloaded from me and i can check their files for you. Whichever option suits you best.

Ive deleted the mods folder and tray folder and then i installed your whole townie files first put it in mods/trays started it up and when i remove clothing from the torso area it shows this. 

and when i go to the cc tab I dont see anything about a bikini so im getting confused rn.

If it does help i downloaded all your files using the extension 'Downthemall" since i didnt want to click them all lol.

@makeg78310 Have you tried to delete localthumbcache.package from Your PC > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4? And have you tried completely moving out mods to somewhere else and run the game without any mods included? It might be WW streamer/censored mod thing. You might want to check that out too. That bra should be wickedwhims/wonderfulwhims bra.

okay after removing the mods my problem went away now i just need to find this streamer thing. I searched it up in my search bar and nothing popped up though. But idk if you can do anything about that so ill see if i can find something on that. Thanks!

I'm checking all my townie makeover files one by one, to see if there's a slipped default replacement bra thingy. Try to download wickedwhims' latest version from here. Then, put it in your mods folder and run the game ONLY with ww installed. Then, see if bra still exists.

 

Some of my oldest townie makeovers have some old sliders (which doesn't effect the bra situation). I'll update them tomorrow.

Found the file, its 'LLS_pectacularnewreplacement.package' So yeah if anyones having the same problem theres that lol. Thanks for helping!

Thanks for the heads up. But it's by lumialovers and it replaces male top body with a different shaped, a bit bulkier top. Maybe it's triggering some other cc. Glad you figured it out for your game

03.13.2023: As mentioned earlier, some oldest townie makeovers had some outdated sliders. I updated their files with up to date sliders.

Both of them are up to date. I probably uploaded him once again, while updating the sliders. I will delete one of them when i'll upload more townie makeovers tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up
