d2002081 Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Hi, I am trying to attach the kf files to the loverscreature animals. Which skeleton does those creatures use? And to what nif I need to attach the kf file in the nifskope?
gregathit Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Well, as one might imagine, the answer is: "it depends". Some of the creatures skeletons can be found in the original bsa files. Others can be found in creatures folder where their body mesh and animations are. As to what I think you are asking, you are going to need 3 things in total: 1. skeleton 2. mesh of creature (including head if separate) 3. then import the animation (kf file) Now this will only create a static animation and not something usable by lovers.
d2002081 Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 Thanks for the reply, but how do i extract the skeleton for the animals like horse and dogs from the bsa? what file name is it?
gregathit Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Use the Fallout Mod Manager for Fallout New Vegas. After installing it just right click on any oblivion bsa file and specify it opens with FOMM. It has a built in viewer and extractor for BSA files that is superior to all others. You then can browse it similar to windows explorer. Look under the meshes\creatures folders for the skeletons. The file name will be......skeleton.nif.
