MOD Idea/Request: Consequences to Perk choices.

<Mod Idea> Consequences to perk choices <Mod Idea/>

Take two different trees- Heavy Armor, and Light armor. IN this idea, getting a lvl doesnt change.. However...

As you begin to unlock Heavy armor, you begin to lock Light armor..........

If Heavy and Light both have 10 perks to unlock. 1 is the first, 10 is the last... Note: you can skill turn a skill legendary. we are simply removing perks.

Possible Scenario 1: When you unlock:

  • Heavy 1, Light 10 closes.
  • heavy 2, Light 9 closes.
  • Heavy 3, Light 8 closes...

Etc...

The conclusion to Possible Scenario 1:

You have all 10 heavy armor perks unlocked, and skill lvl 100. AND You have skill lvl 100 in light armor, but because of your choice above, you cant actually select perks.

Possible scenario 2: If you decide to put some into Light as well,

  • when you unlock Light 1, heavy 10 closes.
  • when you unlock Light 2, heavy 9 closes

Conclusion to Possible Scenario 2:

You have unlocked 5 perks in Heavy armor AND you have unlocked 5 perks in Light armor

When you make one tree legendary, you will have the option to increase the perks in the other, or mix and match..

Possible scenario 3: You become a vampire, and can no longer select any restoration perks. Restoration is not for the undead!

Possible Trees pairings:

  • Restoration || destruction
  • Light armor || Heavy Armor
  • One handed || Two handed
  • Smithing || Enchantment
  • ALteration || Sneak

(not really sure yet to what extent one is kind of the "opposite" of the other)..
