Crashing on Data when installing Four-Play AAF.

Hey guys, I've had issues in the past as soon  here


However that was all good, I fixed it partially. I today updated some stuff and got new animations and I had my old issue, namely: I crash on the data tab when I open it. I reinstalled my AAF patches for Leito and Crazy animations and it works as long as I don't install the very last page of the FOMOD installer, which is the four play animations. Is there anything you guys can think of that may cause this? As I'll be missing out on animations by not installing this.



Now, I am fairly certain I have the required file for this, so I don't know why this isn' working. I'd love to hear back from you guys! 


Edit: Okay, it's something else with that mod, but I don't know what exactly. I'll figure out what. *Sigh*

a load order or mod list would help. A good guide for installing AAF can be found here: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/124848-aaf-a-comprehensive-installation-guide-and-resource-collection-wip/ . It's not recommended that you use FourPlay with AAF as they do the same job. Why do you need to run FourPlay?

It's the Crazy & Leito patches that this thing is. I assume I need that. Almost every single thing inside of that particular mod causes me to crash and I'm honestly running out of hope of what is causing it. They won't appear in the AAF menu otherwise, will they?

Ok but why do you need FourPlay? When you can have a working AAF with those animation working if you follow the guide above I posted a link for.

You should be checking that option on the last page in the screenshot you showed. It isn't for a animation for Fourplay, its just the name of the animation pack. It is a AAF mod. Also there is a new patch called The One Patch to Bang them All which pretty much gets rid of all the other patches you used to have to use. You shouldn't be using the patch for Crazy and Leitos Fomod anymore.

 

If you use the AIO Patch you shouldn't get the Shino and Thrax errors anymore

could you post you load order.  do you have those mods installed with AAF Basic themes, there is another patch for thrax animations https://www.loverslab.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=703523

Edit: So The One patch asks for gender, however I have a playthrough of a female character and a playthrough of a male character. I picked male because it's my primary, is it possible to use this and both genders?

I also went over my ESP limit (this pushed it to 257) so I've disabled Shinto's poses for now, I'm hoping that'll still work. I'll need to find another mod too that I can disable.

Edit2: Do I need VIO_Strap_Ons if I have the Vioxis_StrapsOns that came with The One Patch ?

The AIO Patch has been out for a bit, but I don't know if it was "mainstream" a few months ago. That patch eliminates every other patch to try and make it easier for people to install. So if the guide you followed mentioned using any other patch then the AIO Patch, chances are the guide was out dated.

You shouldn't need VIO Strap on, the one from the patch should cover you. You can disable and get rid of any other patch you have and just use the AIO Patch. Everytime you add or get rid of a mod that involves AAF you need to uninstall and reinstall the AIO Patch.

 

I'm not sure about the gender thing, but because everything is included in the one patch it shouldn't be that big of a deal to just uninstall and reinstall picking the different gender depending on which playthrough you are using. If youre playing your game as a male pick male and if you decide to play your other game you have as female, then just uninstall and reinstall the AIO Patch picking the female as your gender.

 

Unless you actually use poses for screenshots or something else, you really don't need to have any of them installed. They are just a waste of space if youre not actually using them for anything.

I turned off the old Leito / Crazy patch for AAF and tried to turn on the new one, no more errors aboutr missing Thrax or Shino's pose packs. AAF is loading nicely, however I still have the issue where I crash whenever I go on the 'Data' tab. Unless there's an alternative to getting my quests easily, this is rather game breaking.

Thank you again for the help. I knew I shouldn't have updated my mods, just gotten the new animation packs. 

 

You have soooooo many mods that I have never used or don't use so I couldn't possibly know what every issue might arise when using them. Youre still using that Vis G mod which I thought was mentioned before was a culprit for the crashing when going to your data tab. Not sure but that mod rings a bell for me.

I'd just go through and see if there are some mods you can live without. Anytime you are right on the limit or close to the limit of what is recommended you are going to run the risk of shit not working properly, and like I said theres just too many of them I have never used myself to know how they work to be of much help beyond that.

Vis G crashes Data when you go from your Inventory tab, not when you go from the other tabs, so you're partially correct. :] I don't think I could remove that mod without losing all of my progress and having to start over either.

Dang.. Alright, thank you anyway. I'll go and post in the guideline thread too, I suppose.
