It may or may not be obvious from my load order, but I prefer male-oriented mods.

 

 

As a separate question, I've had Oblivion installed on my computer for a while through CD, but recently bought and downloaded the Steam version. How do I use things like Wrye bash for each? Is it possible? I was hoping to use the Steam version as a "Clean" install, without sex-minded mods.

Just a few thoughts after looking at the load order:

 

The most classic advice ever - put 'LoversIdleAnimsPriority' and 'LoversAnimObjectsPriority' all the way down at the bottom.

Even if your install might be stable, moving these two plugins down can only be beneficial.

 

'Streamline 2.1'? The current version is 3.1, 3.0 is also very good. I imagine some features have been added in the newer versions.

 

'Spell Delete And Item Remove' isn't actually that necessary since the mod probably just emulates the console commands removespell and setquestobject 0. Wrye Bash has also a function to delete spells, found in the context menu when right-clicking a savegame.

 

For male characters I've totally fallen in love with Room207's bodybuilder armor conversions. I really hope this modder will continue to remodel all the puny vanilla male armors to something more hunky. My bandits now look much more impressive thanks to the BB Glass Armor replacer.

Those armors and that body are MOST impressive! Sadly he is barely releasing 1 armor every couple of months.

I converted a ton more but I have gotten distracted with trying to learn to animate and have not even added them to my game yet. I will probably return to armors in a couple of weeks after I get my animating fix out of the way.

Is the version on Nexus the version of Streamline I should get?

 

Looking at Room207's mod now. There doesn't seem to be to many of them, but they look good! I've mainly used Slof's Sexy Male Armors mod. I may modify some of Room207's mods a little bit, heh.

Really? I don't know why anyone else would have it' date=' it doesn't do anything, it's not made to. I just made a blank .esp with all my lovers mods as masters, so I could check it and get my lovers mods running. I just forgot to disable it last time I closed Wrye Bash, it seems.

The only things you need to know about steam with Oblivion is:

1. Don't install steam to its default location (program files directory).

2. Follow the instructions for OBSE usage (it is slightly different for steam users vs non-steam).

If you install them to their default directories (program files) you will have a hell of a time getting mods to work if you are using Vista, Win7 or Win8. Always install games outside of the program files directories. UAC and permissions will eat your lunch with regards to mods. If you don't ever plan on adding mods to a steam game then you can leave it in the default location.

 

Now if you have installed steam in there, you can move steam without having to re-download everything.

If you installed Oblivion into the program files directory then no, dragging and dropping won't work. If your mods are working (or appear to be) then don't sweat things until things stop working (if that happens).

 

Dragging and dropping only works with steam and its games due to how the steam system works.

So you did install that 'Chase Camera' mod. Is it any good?

 

For those occasions I'm taking pictures of a player character (as opposed to photographing companions/NPCs where I can easily change the moving speed of my 'camera girl' for pinpoint camera placement accuracy) I frequently curse at the vanilla flying camera's lack of precision.

 

When I was experimenting with Bashed Patch camera tweaks I found changes to the vanilla settings were giving me uncomfortable feelings in the head when following my character running around, that's why I have always been reluctant to fiddle around with any camera mods.

 

I remember using a mod named 'Crowded Roads Advanced' for a while. Seems different from what you have installed? Because I don't recall it having the same '15' option like 'Crowded Cities'. I think the low-intensity version was named 'Less Crowded' instead.

Is yours maybe a newer version of the very same mod?
