Is there anyway to remove headgears mid game?

Search for any dds file with "headgear" in the name, in this directory and all sub directory.

 

If editing dds files in paint.net isn't to your liking, go to /interface/portrait_properties/00_portrait_properties.txt and search for # p5 headgear
