Animations misaligned

Hey everybody, I'm sure this is a common problem with a thread somewhere on how to fix. However, I've been trying to fix it for a few hours with patches and load orders and i'm getting stumped on it. I'd very much appreciate some help with it and I will describe what is happening to the best of my ability.

 

Simply put, almost every sex scene is misaligned to the extent where the actors are facing away from each other. I think it's all Leito's animations, but i'm not 100% sure on that yet. 

 

Here is my load order in case i'm missing something or have conflicting mods that is obvious to modders out there.

For one youre mixing AAF with Fourplay. These 2 generally don't get used together. There is a patch that allows for this but is not needed. You should pick AAF or Fourplay. Fourplay is older and not really used anymore, the majority are probably using AAF. You should start there. If you decide to go the route of AAF you only need a few to get it going and make sure it works then you can add everything else after. It might seem like a little much at first but once you get the hang of it, its really quite simple and a lot more stable then people like to think.

It seems most of my mods are setup for Fourplay? I should be okay simply disabling AAF then as well? Then the misalignment shouldn't be as big of a problem. Other than that, the mods seem quite stable.

Cant really help you there. Yeah if youre gonna go the Fourplay route then you can get rid of the AAF esm. I haven't used fourplay in quite sometime so I wouldn't know if misaligned issues are there or not. I don't follow those threads. Its a older set up and not sure how much support it gets anymore or if it works properly anymore. there is a newer version of fourplay called flashyplay or something like that. It basically has everything included in 1 download to make it easier to install. I don't follow these threads either so I don't know how much has changed with this one as far as content or anything like that. Last time I looked at it, while easy to install, it only had the bare minimum of animations for it cause the other ones had not been made compatible yet but that could've changed. If its Atomic Lust youre looking to be able to use I don't believe its gonna work with fourplay so you can probably get rid of that. Could be wrong but I don't think it works with fourplay. Pretty sure it has to be AAF

I tried to disable a few mods and then the male actor just disappeared during the scenes. This seems like a huge mess. I'm going to just delete all the mods and start again. One by one so I can figure out problems easier.

That would be the best route. I would also suggest just getting the learning pain out of the way right away and learn how to use AAF over Fourplay. as of right now it just has way more to offer. If you start brand new game just grab this at first for the AAF specific mods-

If you do it in this order you shouldn't have a problem with the load order. After you confirm this works you can start adding all your other mods. I recommend only adding a few at a time and going in to check and make sure everything is still working. This way you can narrow down what happened.

Technically you don't need AAF SEU to test AAF if its working or not. You can just call an animation with the wizard and check that way but if your new to AAF then the SEU mod is just a easier way for you to call on a animation.

whow, thanks a lot! i have right now the same problem, good i looked in here before installing again - so i install only these u listed.

 

u know, i had a weird problem: my female player char turned during the animations into a male! i was like whats going on here? i couldnt narrow down the problem.... then, a few saves later my AAF didnt respond, on the screen were staying the "messages" (xml messages i think), i pressed like weird the "home" button to start AAF to start at least some posing animations, but nothing.... well, de-installed 249 mods... (took me 1 hour) - now i start again.

 

maybe u know whats been the cause of my 2 above mentioned errors?

 

hopefully i get "Happy Hookers" to run again with Leito´s animations (1.4), if not, i freak out....    oh, btw - if u know the mod, maybe u know how to get Leito´s new 2.0 animations to run with Happy Hookers?

 

EDIT 3:25 CET - your description worked like a charm!!! i tested it already in prewar sanctuary on furniture with nate, awesome dooood!!! Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right on. Good to hear. Way easier this way. The guides are outdated and throw way too much information at you if youre totally new to these mods. Youre almost guaranteed to get errors when you try and grab everything at once if youre not familiar with them. Its been a few months since anything major has happened to my save game where I've had to start over. I'm not playing everyday though. They could probably use this as a guide if they wanted to cause its still up to date but oh well. Have a good one. Lol

Once you have it running adding all the rest of the animation packs shouldn't be a problem. You can start any scene then open the AAF wizard and cycle through all of them and check them out that way.

Right on. Just trying to help when possible. When I first tried these mods a couple months ago I had the same problems and trying to get anybody(outside a few) to answer or help was pretty hard and I got pretty frustrated and almost just said fuck it. I know it probably gets old being the mod author having people saying shit like your mod doesn't work or your guide is wrong. I wouldn't have any patience for that myself especially if I knew it was good but the person posting didn't know what they were doing. Its not that any of the othere guides are bad, they are just really outdated and misleading. You'll find once you get the hang of these it is a pretty stable framework.  Have a good one.

 

Im also starting to learn FO4Edit and the creation kit so hopefully I'll be able to help a little there also and maybe think about making something for this site in return for what they've provided for me. Plus I like messing around and doing shit like this. I learn REALLY fast so we'll see what happens. Lol

I don't use any other platforms for chatting and stuff. I don't do the whole social media thing, don't really care about it. Im more old school that way. Lol

thank you for guides :) unfortunatelly i do have f4se and mcm.  some reason aff isnt showing the mcm menu i did go instruction page to see how to activate it but well the home key dont work :) so aff itself wont work i guess. i chekked even if i had installed it right location but it was there. ill try figure out how to get aff sexframe to work but i might need to give up adult mods if it dont. aff 58 b is version i use this moment i might try going back previous 35 and see if that changes anything :)

I had the same thing with the home key not working. You have to reassign the AAF Wizard start key (home) to a different key. Go to your AAF folder in your FO4 data folder and open the AAF settings xml. Scroll down and you'll see hotkeys. This is a list of all the hotkeys AAF uses and you can change which one it uses for the home key to start the wizard.  The home key is the first one on the list and you will see that in AAF the home key is assigned to key 36 (which is the home key on your keyboard). If you go to this site it will have a list of the keys and what number they are assigned to in fallout. Pick anyone you want that isn't be used already by AAF. Basically don't pick obvious ones like shift or end or enter - you know shit like that are probably already being used. A suggestion would be to use something like the letter 'C' or something like that. That's the key I assigned to it for my game and its fine if you just want to do the same thing. Here is the link for the chart so you can pick your own-https://www.creationkit.com/fallout4/index.php?title=DirectX_Scan_Codes. If you just want to go ahead and use the 'C' key like I did then the number for that key is 67. So you would just go into the folder I told you and go down to the hotkeys section, find the line with the home key on it and change the value of "36" to "67" save and youre done. When you fire up your game and want to use the wizard now instead of using the home key you can just push the 'C' key or whichever one you choose and boom the wizard will come up.
