hellonow Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Hi guys, I have Photoshop with the DDS plugin. I'm trying to edit the femalebody_1.dds file, but i'm not sure how to save it. Any option or variation I choose always results in the same thing - a completely blurred skin. File size will vary between 2 and 10 megs depending on the saving options I choose - but the skin is always blurred in game. Hoping someone who knows what they are doing can tell me how it's meant to be done! Cheers...
Ark of Truth Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 - Save it as a JPEG in Photoshop - Then download Paint.net - Open the JPEG in Paint.net - Save it as DDS in Paint.net The see what it is like in game. I do editing in Photoshop, save it as JPEG and then use Paint to convert to DDS.
hellonow Posted December 1, 2012 Author Posted December 1, 2012 Thanks for the tip - this seems to work fine! Awesome!
Ark of Truth Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Photoshop can't do DDS by default and if memory serves the DDS plugins is not even official and is beta. Paint can do DDS by default. Glad it worked for you.
