New Vegas Crashing/Freezing after 20 minutes or so

I booted up Fallout: New Vegas after a long time and I remember it being able to run for several hours before crashing. Now, however, the game crashes after 20 minutes or so and I have no idea why. All my mods are the same and I haven't changed any of the .ini files or anything. I've tried running LOOT several times but that didn't help out much. Any ideas?
