Story description

 

Slip Over Time is a visual novel with a story progression; where a boy tries to build a time machine to prevent his father's death, but during this journey he will encounter various surprises and paradoxes ... 
There will be choices that obviously will influence the path of play and, but overall the game will be easy to understand and follow, my attention is on not to make the game challenging, but above all, on the art, on the story, on the choreography and irony of situations, (I hope) with the appreciation of the players.

A Fast Note...

 

Hi,
With these last three images that I must complete and started to show on YouTube, I will finish my first analysis and research of the style of drawing. Afterwards I will choose which technique is currently, better for my current knowledge and possibilities of software management ... further experiments, studies and attempts I will do them on my own account in lost time, but no longer on the game.

I wanted to update you on this point, because I consider it important for both the working time (which will become faster), and because with the next two updates the cut and the artistic style will represent quite how the development of the game will continue, at least for many of the first versions.

When the time comes and I will be ready, before making changes I will post both further details and new illustrative images of where I want to go.

I hope you are apprertiating the informations and the small changes that I did in this last days, both for the game, and for the Patreon page.

Short news

 

Today I finish one of the new scene.


Tomorrow I will start with some new sketch and outline of some backgrounds (i need to change a little my mind with other images), anyway , despite the timeline seems still at the beginning, I'm not far to my programs for the update of this month.

Backstage, how much work is hidden?
Hi guys,
this is a short video of sketches about the  the studies of a new hairstyle of Myriam character, as you can watch the previous general lineart of the Myriam face was done, this tests are only about the hair.

I insert this video only to give you a fast idea on how much work need to create the characteritics and particularities to define one character (obviously in line with his/her personality).

I need to do this, because when you draw, you must feel your characters with the mind, the heart and the hand..., they are your "children..."

Some day's ago one member of one of the Forum site where i promoting my game wrote that he can't understand where i want to go with the art...

It's difficoult to explain with words, expecially for me that i don't speak eneglish thery well, anyway, you can imagine a that i want create a contrasts through my draws, contrasts about the situations (drama or fun or adventure... etc..) about the styles so as to better highlight a particular scene, and so on.... Moreover i want to be free with my draws, free to change prospectvie, angles, lights, free as you can are with a 3D; all this.... it involves much, much much study, research and work about it in the backstage... Normally an artist need almost 500 hours of work for each character, to start to own and draw it in any situation with his eyes closed (at least for the level that I intend to reach), for other types of results things can certainly be faster, but this is not what I want.

I hope this little explanation will answer, at least in part, the doubts and / or perplexities you may have about how much you have so far been able watched and played, and in addition to the other reasons I have already described on my page, explain in part because I'm so slow to proceed (in addition to the fact that I'm still a junior user of photoshop). Sorry if I was boring.

A small specification...about the animations


Hello,
in today's video and in the next one the animation of Lilly's walk will end (in reality the whole scene is more longer, but for obvious reasons, the rest is a surprise).

Since you are generally used to watching the video designs from beginning to end around, I want to warn you that this time, in the last two videos that I will put on YouTube, I cut many sequences, because everything seemed too repetitive, as each movement is made of many passages and similar drawings, I preferred to combine the main pieces of the various workings, so as to make the idea of the work as a whole without uploading a file of 2 hours ...

Short News

I restarted the works, you will find a new video published on YT. 

All the 0.1 version will ends with the completion of all the events of the first day, and to give you an idea of what is missing, here there is the list:

  •  at least 3-4 animations (2 of them have an important choreography complexity)
  •  about 10-15 or more new scenes
  •  5 locations of the house
  •  probably (but it is not influential on the story) implementation of a couple of game mechanisms and code structure, especially on the User-Iterface screen.

As I had promised, in order not to lengthen the expectations between updates, I will break all of this works according to intervals of a month or so.

Hi.

Being a game for adults and with many erotic scenes, summarizing the protagonist is destined to have sex with everyone, the real fun, however, are the different motivations, the different atmospheres or the different situations and choices that will arise during the course of the story.

 

To answer you then, Yes, this will happen, but not only ..., because the script I'm creating is complex and contains many facets that detach this Visual Novel from purely pornographic games.

Sorry for my Lame arse joke. Its good that its not soley a Pornographic game, Gotta have its plotwist and story to and sometimes you end up coming for the story and the porn is just a nice thing after the story. Time travel is one of my most fav story settings. i just diden't like the main MC design, could look a little more Chad/intelligent like

I don't know who is "Chad", but I can say you this.

Obviously not all the characters could be loving by the public, but about the MC I can say you that it's too early to have the right idea about his character and style..  don't forget that in the story he lost early his father and now he live with 3 women... but all this will be the instrument to create more different situations, hard, sad, soft, adventure, gag and so on...

it was described in the introduction during the game, the real mother was died when he was young, 

This game will be a slowly and calcuated mix of, a simple  erotic, adventure, sci-fi and comedy novel, , described with comic art, style, and pure art style, all  amalgamated and with the choreography of animations and music.... (a bit of game, a bit of movie, a bit, of cartoons, a bit a novel, a bit of soundtrack, a bit of erotism...)

 

At the start of the 3* chapter will be the first important change that allow the player to enter and play different paths and choises as it benn completly different games, but.... all will have influence on all....

 

It's a real complex and big project (consider that only unitl  the firsts 2 chapters there are definde minimum 50 characters and minimum 70/80 different loccations, and i'm stop here to say you other... )

If you mean that you are waiting the end of the game, then,  I can tell you that the project is built to be developed without a deadline, unless I decide to interrupt it.

If you mean that you want to pay occasionally, you can do it, Patreon gives you the chance to become a member only for 1, 2, 3 ... months as you want, or you can pay a free amount of your choice only once .

News of the week

Hi all,
since Tigers and I begun to collaborate, several things have been developed; in addition to the improvement of texts and translations, and various analysis of the general status of the project and the received feedback, I decided to update the game in a definitive way.
This operation was already planned, but I wanted to revamp everything, and the changes made to the texts require new images; so I ask all of you to wait a bit 'more (presumably until the end of February), but I can assure you that the results will be evident, both in regards to the art, the dialogues and the internal mechanics of the game.

From tomorrow, I will write a post dedicated ony to the members, to provide to you, the YouTube reference links - Discord and Twitter, which will be closed to the public; Only the contacts of the old free channel YouTube, Facebook and Deviant Art will remain open and I will update the Patreon page accordingly.
