Ark of Truth Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Can anyone make a texture file for this? Or can point me in the right direction so I can do it myself. Original mod: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/36576 I want to place the canvas in the frame and then change the canvas to a picture while keeping it all as one piece. Sadly the modder did not include texture files. Any help would be great.

You mean you want to combine the frame and canvas meshes and have them share a single texture+UV?
gregathit Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Ok, perhaps I am being incredibly stupid here but I combined the two for you. To show a picture all you would have to do is point the canvas (Object2 - NiSourceTexture) towards the texture (dds file) that you wanted to show up. If I am being stupid and not understanding what you are after - please be gentle...
Ark of Truth Posted October 20, 2012 Author Posted October 20, 2012 lol I didn't notice it was using base textures. @greg you are a legend exactly what I wanted. Thank you good sir!
Ark of Truth Posted October 22, 2012 Author Posted October 22, 2012 Ok, got a new issue, the textures and all work great but the picture in the frame is always dark even when surrounded by loads of light.
gregathit Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Ark, Try selecting the Object02 (NiTriShape) and expanding the menu to see the NiMaterialProperty. Click on it (should be named 4 and has a painters palate next to it). In the block details (by default on the bottom of the nifskope window) scroll down until you see the following: Ambient Color Diffuse Color Change all of them to have 1.0 (there are three per - RGB). If that isn't bright enough then change these two as well: Specular Color Emissive Color Change all of them to have 1.0 (there are three per - RGB).
Ark of Truth Posted October 23, 2012 Author Posted October 23, 2012 Ok Greg, Any idea why when I use this as a activator I have to be like 6ft away from it for the action icon to show up?
gregathit Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Sorry, that one is beyond me. I have not played around with activators yet, so I am more in the dark than you on that one.
