Dawnstar Detective

Dawnstar. Should be Northstar. The middle of the north coast doesn't say much about the dawn. It is one of our lesser used ports but the ore mined here is a staple trade good and turns a small profit, when the ships aren't sunk by pirates. Supposedly a few of said pirates meet our rival's employee here and the inn on the top of the hill is the most likely location for a meeting.

Making my way into the inn I find the expected tired miners, surly miners and uncouth miners making suggesting comments and trying to grab the waitress. On second thought, those are probably the pirates I was hoping to find. As a bonus, said waitress slash bard slash eye candy doesn't seem happy with the extra customers and hands out more than few slaps at wandering hands. I decide against wandering into trouble for a table and join the depressed looking bartender at his bar. A mug of ale and a pot pie later I've identified the Horker leader, one Stig Salt-plank by name, confirmed that the waitress, unsurprisingly the bartender slash owner's daughter, would rather not have them here, and learned someone, thing or curse has plagued everyone's sleep with nightmares of late. I am promised that visitors do not get said nightmares and there is a bed available, even with the extra guests.

A rather devious plan of action comes to mind and I wait for the waitress to come up to the bar for the pirates' next round. Catching her attention I mention I have something, "non lethal, don't worry" that will calm her rowdy and handsy customers if she's willing to let me help. Suspicious at first, the lovely Karita is willing to accept my help as long as I don't kill them... here. I quickly add a drop of a sleeping poison to each of the mugs her father just filled and mention "just let me add an extra drop each round, and they'll be coasting to the end of the night faster than cheap ale alone would take them." I find it rather ironic that they're probably drinking on the profits of raiding my company's ships and by getting them drunk faster I'm saving them money. Three rounds later, I ask Karita if she'd be willing to help me make a little trouble for Stig. "This will probably make his employers unhappy with him and likely lead to his leaving the profession... and maybe not just around here. Might need to be some nookie in it from you, and I can't promise it will be any good, unless you can give me a discount renting a room tonight and let me share yours?"

Karita gives me a bit of a smirk and says "I'm not opposed to any of those ideas. Whatever you're planning, you can tell Pig that you've talked me into letting his hands wander farther, but not in here. I don't want the rest of his crew getting jealous." A grin accompanies my response "My thoughts exactly. I just hope he can tell me what I want before he passes out, or his pockets hold my answer." I wander over to their table ahead of the drinks bearing barmaid and ask the inebriated crew if they're really part of the renown Blood Horkers. The effect of the drink is quite apparent in their delayed response to my question but they do eventually confirm that they are the pirates I seek. Captain Pig, as Karita aptly named him, asks if I am playing booty tonight. "I could" I tell him, "or I could sign up with your crew and play booty more than once. Can you tell me where I should go sign up?" Stig is initially unwilling to volunteer the location, claiming he can add to his own crew whomever he wants. My protestations about his bosses being angry about that are waved aside claiming they'd be more angry with him disclosing the location. He does let slip the name of "Haldyn" once though, which might prove useful later. Activating part two of the plan, I wait until Karita delivers the next load of drinks (non dosed at this point but it hardly matters) and run an arm across Stig's shoulders. "Why don't I show you just how useful I can be? I even got the waitress I noticed you like to come along. She even has a room all ready." Stig's face splits with a smile "Well now, why you don't you two show me what you can do."

In the larger bedroom, it is short work getting the pirate undressed and his size proves he'll be at least a good dildo ride for Karita, provided he stays hard. Her comment of "Well, this is a nice tool.. I bet I can do all kinds of things working with this." lets me know she might have some skill and my plan should be easier than I thought. While she distracts him with her task, I slip behind him and lock an arm around his neck. "Stig the Pig, we're going to play a little game. You tell me what I want to know and you get to have as much fun as she wants. You don't tell me what I want to know and it could be a looong, haaard night for you.

It turns out, Stig has rather little resistance to turning on his employers for the chance at a little fun and quickly answers my questions about the location of their base of operations and the illegal corporate competition. While I doubt we can use that information, what with the local company being in favor with the local politics and local politics not being in good favor with the Empire at least we'll be warned to watch for future interference. Information gathered and our flesh dildo at proper size and stiffness, I fish a paralysis poison from my pack and explain "Stig, we want to reward you for your cooperation and understand you will want to leave before your employers catch wind of your betrayal, but we cannot have you passing out on us or trying to take more than you deserve. This little potion will keep you hard, all of you hard, till we're done and gone, and then you'll be free to go."

A few drops, a few minutes, and Karita proves that she missed her calling. If she doesn't leave and join the cavalry, I have more than a few positions she could take up.

After an enjoyable evening in a discounted room (pictures coming later) I take my leave of the slow moving barmaid (well since there was little drink serving and much more singing, she was mostly just a bard) and board ship back to Windhelm. Unfortunately I'm not sure what I can do when I get there. I don't think I will be able to just hire a boat to Japhet's Folly, home of Haldyn the Head Horker. An abandoned island often shrouded in mists isn't the typical stop and a reputed home of people who sink ships for a living tends to increase the cost of hiring a boat. Would I be pleasantly surprised.
