Which Skyrim to Get?

I've been playing Skyrim: SE on Xbone for a while now. Getting sick of console shenanigans, so I'm moving to PC. I want to get Skyrim on PC using Steam, and I also want to mod it with plenty of goodies from this site. I've read up and found that mods are not compatible between SE and Oldrim, and despite SE's 64 limit for mods, Oldrim has more mods since it's been out longer.

I'm asking whether I should get Skyrim: SE, or Oldrim, especially if I intend to get mods from here.

Then you need Oldrim. 

 

This is not a question of personal preferences. The fact is that if you want to use those mods you need Oldrim.
