Hi everyone. I want to present to you my game -- Forgotten Paradise.

 

 

What is it?
It’s an adult visual novel that will take you on an adventure. It won’t be one of those games where the protagonist is stuck in a house throughout the game (not that there is anything wrong with that). I just want to make it as adventurous as possible. Even though the main theme is Sci-Fi it will shift throughout the game. I don’t plan to have the game revolve only in space.

 

Story:

You play as a happily married man with 2 wonderful daughters. Everything was going okay in your life, until one day you heard about a paid social trip to space. You decided to try your luck and participate with your whole family. Making it through the end will reward you with a good sum of money that will help with your mortgage and most importantly, get your daughters through college. And to your surprise you got picked and not only you, but your whole family. On the day you're supposed to leave, you meet a strange man who tells you you're being used as a guinea pig for a test experiment on a serum that wipes out memories. He gives you a pill that will negate that effect. Although you are too late to warn your family you can at least watch over them or take advantage of the fact they have no memories of you or their siblings? The choice will be yours.

 

The plan is to have quite a bit of story and different sexual content. There is quite a few unique characters with unique morphs that only exist in this game.

Hey, azquirath.

My plans right now is to have people choose between different options. I understand that everyone has different fetishes and some people might be really turned off by something, so I do like to offer different alternatives. Do note however that sometimes it might be necessary to have something like this to progress the story further (meaning no alternative choice) but that won't be often, at least that's the plan.

I will try to make it as obvious as possible as to what a particular choice will do in the game for whatever you choose. Also, you can rollback immediately (by clicking the quick back button that is located at the bottom of your screen) to the previous text/choice without needing to reload a save file.

Hey guys! Here's a quick sneak peek at 0.2:

 

0.1 ended with the Main Character being escorted to a meeting. That's where 0.2 will start.

All the sex scenes planned for the next update will feature only a single female character. HOWEVER, they will be different depending on the choices you make. Right now the plan is to have 3 different outcomes that will involve: Group Sex, Solo Sex, Voyeur/NTR; You will get to choose between those 3. I feel like I should let people decide what exactly they want to happen with more choices available for them to choose from. But as you can see this takes more time to develop as this could've been 3 different characters having 3 different sex scenes. I see a lot of people who don't want x or y, so I decided to give you the choice here and depending on your feedback I might do more of the same in future versions or alter it.

What's new?

• More smooth animations! The last version had 2-3 frames, but now we are up to 20 frames per animation.
   Improved the overall quality of the images.
   Total new images (+the animations) = 209;
   Over 1,500+ lines of code on the dialogue part.
   4 different paths to follow with different outcomes/scenarios
   Reduced text length in the dialogue textbox as suggested by other people.
   The text in the credits screen now appears above Zoey and Chloe.
   Added a skip option for the credits.

If I can give you a suggestion, don't be stucked to one point of view only: you can show scenes happening even without the MC seeing them. Let the MC take the choices, but feel free to show the consequences to the player (us) wherever they are happening. Much more variety and fun this way imo

What's new in 0.3?

• More routes to follow! Some choices that you've made in the previous version can lead to a bonus or hidden scene
• Introducing a Walkthrough for Patrons only
• Total new images (+the animations) = 180;

0.4 is out for the Public!

This version is a little shorter than the previous ones since it was a short and busy month (last month). Just a heads up.
 

What does 0.4 bring?

 

• We have a total of ~3 sex scenes with different characters.
• The community poll vote from last month about which girl Chloe should end up hooking with was decided to be Zoey by the majority of you and you can see the fruit of your decision in this version.
•  ~150 rendered images (including the animations)
•  You get to make a choice from another character's point of view. This is just a test and I will probably make a poll in the future to ask on people's opinion if they'd like to see more choices from different characters or not.
•  Ruby gets a new hairstyle! I've seen complaints in the past about her hairstyle and I agree. It actually took a long time for me to pick the right one as a lot of the hairstyles just don't look right on her. I think the one I ended up choosing in this version looks good. I will let you be the final judges of that though.
•  Whenever a player gets to this point in the game (0.4) they will see the main menu updated with the new hairstyle of Ruby. As this is a persistent thing, even if you start a new game you will still see the updated hairstyle. Only wiping your persistent data in the save files will revert her back to the old one until you reach that point in the game again.
•  Added an ambient music track to play throughout the game.

Also, back in 0.2 I updated Chloe's face to look better, but never updated her in the Credits. This is the actual difference of her change:

 Now she has been properly updated in the Credits as well.

I am also aware of the twitching in the clothing during Ruby's animation in her sex scene. The thing about this is that it's really hard for me to undress her clothing that she currently wears. It creates a lot of problems. I have actually rendered the animation about 2-3 times (and the whole animation is ~19 separate renders) and I've stitched together to make it look as good as possible and still sexy. I want to make it realistic enough so that not every character loses all of their clothing every time.

Cool original story so far! Backed you on patreon after trying .04 for a bit, and realized I wanted the full .05 right away!

 

One suggestion (if its there already, forget it) but I'd put a "all characters are fictitious and aged 18 or older" notice at the start of the game. I know you get into it a bit later (explaining her looks because of the cryochamber), but the one daughter looks a bit young at first and it made me a bit uncomfortable honestly. I don't want any of that shit on my PC at all, pixels or not, and so making sure that its very clear that your game doesn't include any of it is very, very important.

 

Also be careful with your I****t tag. Patreon is cracking down on it, and honestly, since they turn out not to be your daughters anyways and you have the option to pursue it or not, I'm not even sure the tag is needed. This would mean altering the first scene where you can "imagine" what she looks like, but it's not all that needed anyways. it wouldn't take a lot away from the story and you could avoid teetering on the line of borderline bullshit that could get you removed from Patreon.

 

Anyways, just suggestions here as I hope to see a finished product eventually, and more content soon.

Hey. Thanks for the feedback. I have put a disclaimer already at the beginning when a new user launches the game for the first time. You have to accept the terms or you won't be able to start the game.  Yeah, I agree about the tag. It's the reason why I had to alter the game and for them not to be your real daughters. What's new in 0.5?

• Added a new option in the config menu called 'Netorare' which you can turn on or off. The option is set to on by default. This is for people who don't want to see any scenes that will have Netorare and this version has one such scene.
   

       
 

• Changed the Credits music to something more cyberpunkish. (I have ideas to change the in-game one too or add additional, but I can't promise anything yet.)
   

Fixes:

• Fixed a few things on the Credits screen, including the text speed and Chloe's shadow behind her.
• Fixed a problem where the in-game ambient music would play whenever you enter the Configuration menu before actually loading or starting the game.
• Fixed a few typos from the previous version.

i actually ended more excited by the story then the fucking haha, though it needs some rework. why does the mass effect aliens humans suddenly show up? did we have contact with them before? who are red aliens? why are they so close in DNA they can breed together, some races on the human planet cannot breed together. are they an offshoot of humanity? that would also explain the mass effect human. you need a background story.

and holy shit when planet earth just blew up i was pissed hehe.  but i diden't like the futa parts i'm glad you can skip them.  the same with most of the interracial stuff.  you also need to explain the horns, is it something only female of specis have for attraction and that they are healthy since on a humanoid unless they have some sort of power like cooling there a large detriment in combat and so i would assume the male counterpart woulden't have it or would have short spikes instead but even that would probably go away, or only stay with royalty.

 

as of copyright reasons i doubt this game can be released on steam, with just a censored and then just an uncensored patch.

 

oh and btw remove the incest tag unless you plan some real onces. as a ck2 player and connoisseur of incest, this is not proper incest.

Well, this is more of a fantasy world where there are a lot of races, some who took refuge on Earth from their own home planet (the red skinned girl Dahlia for example). To be honest with you the game started as an incest, but for obvious reasons I had to quickly make edits to the story because I use Patreon as my main support for the game. Do you mean Jack? Well, like I said he is just another *new* race on Earth that made it's way higher in society. About Steam -- yeah. If I censor the game it will lose huge chunks of the story and I honestly don't think it's worth the effort at the moment. But perhaps if Steam or some other platform updates their policy on sexual content I will consider doing that too!

Hey guys. I updated the OP with the latest update (0.12). Here are the new things in this update:

 

• 250+ rendered images (including the animations).
• Lots of new characters and locations.

• The scroll wheel now moves you forward(up) and backwards(down) through the text in the game. The History screen is now only accessible through the button on the bottom right.

• A few scenes from the alternative route.
• Another birth this version to a very important character
• One of your choices can lead to a bad end (#3)

Hey guys. I am updating the OP with the latest update (0.13). Here are the new things in this update:

 

Overview:

•  ~250 rendered images (including the animations).
•  New sex scenes include: A Netorare scene(choice appears only if enabled from the Options menu), Blowjob, Boobjob, Vaginal sex scenes, Cunniliungus;
•  New very important character makes an appearance:

•  New locations.
•  New sound effects.
•  2 new bad endings.
•  I now render the scenes with an extra option enabled (which I haven't used until now because I didn't use the Beta software of DS) It's called Post Denoiser. It basically removes all noise from rendered scenes. I used to render for hours some images and then have to go in Photoshop to deal with the noise further, but that is no longer a problem and it helps a ton with rendering.
•  Updated the 0.13 Walkthrough to represent the new font and style inside the game itself. (patrons only)

Fixes include:

•  Some dialogue correction from previous versions. 
•  Fixed an error that pops up if you've gone with "Push him away" choice back when the Alien Queen invaded the ship.
•  Added additional dialogue from your meeting with the Alien Queen in the last version, thanks to a patron feedback. The added dialogue is only if you have slept with the Queen before on her ship.

I am updating the OP with the latest update (1.0). Since this is the last planned version I will be updating the thread next month when the Free version comes out to Public and whenever I patch the game. Thanks!

 

New things:

 

Overview:

• Nearly 300 rendered images (including the animations).
• New music.
• Updated and improved on the text (making it easier to read).
• New sex scenes include: 2 Vaginal, Anilingus, Foot fetish;
• 3 New endings, all of which give you an unique main menu update (it can be changed if you load a previous save and play through a different ending. That way it updates it with the latest ending you've gotten).
• All main characters get screen time and their own personal conclusion to the story.
• Previous choices will give you different scenes/dialogue here. Lot's of different dialogue available in this update as part of the different paths.
• I went back and fixed a lot of things from previous versions from what I could spot that needed fixing.  The quick menu in the bottom right now is hidden throughout the whole game when a choice is made and when a sex scene animation plays out.
