Been working hard on reworking the male face, but I really need someone to create a good normal map for me (2k) if they'd be so kind. I'm a filthy n00b who has no idea how, and every time I try to I fail horribly. Anyone willing to just create one for me real quick? ^o^ Thank you so much! I'll leave this here for anyone who'd like to use it. It's a mix of all the details from the best male mods out there, plus my own custom ears (which is most of the reason why I need new normals). :)

EDIT: Oops, I forgot to reorient it. New file added with PSD as well if it makes it any easier. Male2 is the reoriented one, as well as the PSD.

This texture was worked with the Imperial face in mind however.

Another note: No matter how many times I redo lips, it seems none look good. They get all stretched by the mesh and look blurred. x.x Not sure what to do about that.

But you're good. It shows in your work. Try following this tutorial and see if it helps.

 

If you don't have photoshop I might give it a try if it's not too complicated.

Eesh, he makes it look easy to do with stones, but with a face? I don't see that working out, but I'll give it a shot. Ty :)

 

EDIT: Nevermind, I can't use Crazybump without paying. Apparently I somehow used the trial already. Must've been a while ago because I don't remember it at all! Oh, well. xD

 

If anyone has any other suggestions that'd be great :) Or if someone knows how to stop photoshop from ruining any normal map I save with vertical, pixelated lines, that'd be amazing, too! :wub: Might be a save settings issue? If it helps, I save as DXT5 ARGB 8 bpp interpolated alpha, 2d texture, generate mip maps checked. I have no idea what any of that means though. LOL
