CTD, stability issues.

Hi, I've been having repeated CTDs during loadgame and at seemingly random times whilst playing (it seems more frequent around water), I highly doubt it has anything to do with my rig, but the specs will be below other than that, I have logged 802 hours in Skyrim without mods, with mods places SKSE around 760ish hours, so I kind of know what I’m doing but not really or else I would not be hear seeking help; my main suspect would be dual sheath redux as I’ve seen from multiple threads that installing it incorrectly can result in a cod, this is where I have some confusion as I believe that I installed it correctly this time, yet my game still crashes. just in case someone thinks it to be hardware overheating or not getting the correct voltage, I already monitor that with MSI Afterburner and my Logitech g510 keyboard, so I’m doubtful.

I'm going to confess that I won't be bothering to read through your entire load order.

However... seeing as you've got your dual sheath redux patch in the wrong place, I'm going to assume you have no idea how load order works.

 

Firstly, what you want to do is go through each mod you've downloaded and find out if it has any load order requirements.

 

[May not affect you]

1) e.g. Dual Sheath Redux Patch should be at the bottom of your Load Order

2) e.g. Only Paper World Map should be below DSR

3) e.g. Unofficial Patches for Skyrim and texture pack should be on the top of their respective sections.

 

Check your downloaded mod sites.

And download LOOT to sort out your load order easily.

 

 

Secondly, what you should do is download ENB (http://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0308.htm).

Then download this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73618/?

 

And go to enblocal.ini and disable graphics.

 

 

Thirdly, download: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72725/?

And enable AlighHeapAllocate in its config file.

And also download the memory patch that comes with it (check config file or author's page).

(Edit: I see you already have this. You should only use this if you get crashes on the loading screen or right after you load a save)

 

 

Otherwise, I honestly wouldn't have any idea what is happening. You should either search more or do a reset of skyrim.

Side note: I'm playing on an 8gb ram Macbook Air Bootcamp that has 1536 of vram, 'smart' allocation. I get my fans running all the time and get about 20fps with over 200 mods.

As for op:

Load order is something you should learn a bit more about, it might not be a cure all, but it will help.

Also might want to learn about bash patches and merge patches and even working with xedit and the CK, there are multiple threads talking about all of those things all over the internet.

You might also want to look into merging some of your mods together honestly... you wont have much of an issue with the list you have now, but when you get into the realm of 300-500 mods you quickly run out of space for esp/esm. (some of the armor mods and the sos plugs caught my eye)

 

Side note:

Looking for a never crashing game is a pipe dream honestly.

The base game is buggy and can break itself without much effort, adding mods only adds to that instability.

Doesn't mean we cant get closer to stable game, but do not be surprised to see crashes from time to time.

My 350 mod list is "stable" in so much that it does not catch fire and blow up.
