piece of armour not showing

hello 

 

i installed two uunp armour mods

 

for some reason equipping the bottom part of the armour on its own will show but as soon as i equip the top part it disappeared 

uneducated guess is there too much hdt stuff?

not sure if this is related but it displays vanilla amours when you go to equip in inventory?

 

one of the amour in question is from the tumbler page shitty uunp conversions

I think this is probably because of Devious Devices. I Had this problem with the bikini armors because of Devious Devices. Devious Devices will hide certain devices under armor. This becomes a problem with armors that have a lot of different parts and components. Try going to the Devious Devices MCM and go to Devices Underneath (1). Go to device hider and change it from its default and instead select none. If that doesn’t fix it then maybe someone else with chime in.

ah yes, you was right! i disabled it then it showed but i might leave it because it says in the DD mcm description, to only change the setting if you know what your doing and i have no idea what it all means 

 

should i just disable it and then if my character ends up in some DD, just re enable again?

Try also going to the SoS MCM and setting the body slot of the armor to be revealing. This frees up slot 52 which lower modded armors often use

how DD's devices underneath works is that, whenever a piece of equipment is equipped, it will hide other equipped equipment that is set up to be hidden.

example, on the default settings, torso armor will hide equipment using slot 52 (plugs, belts etc)

so if you want to disable that, just click on the Devices Underneath tab, scroll down, and change the settings down below. i'm not very sure what does device hider do, but i suspect it's a "magic" thing the mod requires to hide things, so like stated, don't change it if you're not sure what you're doing, but changing other settings in those two tabs are fine. it's how you can customize your DD experience. have a bottomless outfit but want to show belts? change the torso slot to only hide nipple piercings or chastity bra, that kind of stuff.
