Trying to make a Dual Sheath Redux (DSR) Patch for Hellish Swords

I will totally be your best friend if you can help me make a DSR Patch for the Hellish Slasher.  Every tutorial and every video I watched about this does not specify how to do it for weapons that come with a .BSA or they don't even specify what to do after you've created new mesh edits for the swords besides obviously re-running the SkyProc Patcher.  I just want to know what steps I need to take to get a sword with a .BSA working with DSR.

 

Unfortunately, Hellish Slashers are no longer on Steam so you can't re-obtain it.  But if anybody has successfully created a DSR patch for a weapon with a .BSA, then please share your wisdom and secrets.

 

I even extracted the Hellish Slasher .BSA into loose files and placed those in my Skyrim directory and re-ran SkyProc Patcher.  Still nothing.

If you want the Hellish Slasher, let me know how I can submit them to you because this forum unfortunately does not allow me to attach .BSA files.  It's only 39mb.

I don't know what's up with this website but I almost always end up IMMEDIATELY solving my problems as soon as I post my issue.  It's great!

I found out that I did everything successfully only I have to start a new game for it to work.  The Hellish Slashers are indeed both showing up on my left and right side on a new game but not on my current game.  But nobody ever mentioned this at all so I find it quite odd.

 

Anybody know what could be the conflict?
