CTD on load, everything works fine on new game until load attempt.

Here's the situation, I try to make a new game, finish my character derp around for a little, save the game successfully, quick load successfully but whenever I quit the game and then try to reload the last save, or any save in fact, it crashes to my desktop.

 

I've played the game before on my computer for long periods of time so I doubt the issue is on the hardware, also I don't really see a mod in my selection that would cause any sort of trouble, especially when it doesn't seem to be the normal corrupt save problem... LOOT doesn't also show any problems, SKSE is updated to their latest versions and I'm pretty sure the mods I have on are with all their dependencies. Help please?

pretty much sounds like a problem i have got a time ago, it was having to many strings. but your load order doesnt contain so many string havy mods, so im not sure.

 

but i would still recommend installing the crash fix plugin (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72725/?) and try loading the saves again

Sounds like script load making it fall over.  I used to get this all the time (hundreds of mods on my list too) so I use the following trick someone posted :

 

Run Skyrim

Don't load your game yet

Pull up the console (~)

type in : coc qasmoke (and then hit enter)

Once in the testing room, wait for your mods to finish loading (avoid the temptation to mess with anything)

Hit esc, load your game as normal.

 

If it still won't load, then you've got some other issue.  Hope this helps.
