JOHNP500 Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 AUTOLINK: GENERAL INFORMATION AND QUERIES After some investigations that were dealt with, some issues that have cropped up in various forums can be dealt with as per the summary below. There are also a few queries at the end of this too. Autolink: This is a very elegant bit of programming: Very simple and incredibly effective. I have to congratulate the author on an excellent bit of programming and hope that they get to see this comment. Private Paradise video: This DLC content is a total waste of money However, when used inconjunction with Autolink and the Pole Dancing download, it suddenly becomes a worthwhile purchase. So to the creator of the pole dancing download, you have made a crap DLC from the DOA5 authors something worthwhile. Thank you. There seems to be some confusion as to how to activate the additional movies. It took me a while to work out myself. This applies to PC.1- DLC content Private Paradise is required, as well as the Pole Dancing download.2- Go to Movies and navigate via u or i to Private Paradise movies.3- ON CLOTHING SELECTION SCREEN: PRESS F9 AND 0-9 OR q TO p, OR n.4- The particular video sequence is activated when you then press M to watch the movie. Autolink and costumes. No slots are required.Use Archivirus to acces the TMC files and extract. Then choose the costumes required and drag and drop them into the appropriate Autolink girls folder, eg Autolink\Kasumi.Based upon what I understand and tests, a straight drag and drop can give 127 costumes and 1 default, 128 total.Based upon other forum information and tests I have done, the reference to the numbered subfolders is just a repeat of what I have described above, hence the number of costumes per folder is 128 (factor of 2) but number of sub folders is limitless. So you can have countless costume varients too. When swapping various costumes from character to character, there maybe imperfections, such as neck mesh discrepancies and variations in skin tones or colour. These can be fixed but they are so minor. Autolink Private Paradise .ini cordinates system.I noticed that on one of the forums, a query cropped up about this. The cordinates are based upon the x,z,y system, z referring to height. X and Y refer to the horizontal plain, and orientation is based upon how the mesh was assembled in the program that was used to create it. An example of possible use here is setting the z coordinate to 100 plus for say, Lost World. When set for the move all function, the first set of coordinates in the .ini file, the character and cameras are moved to a substantial height above the plain, resulting in just a blue background, due to clear skies, and hence allows use for blue screen keying. See below. Autolink stage swaps.Set the stage index to the approrpiate number using Notepad. Look for DOA5 setstageindex via google.Using notepad, set REPLACE for the default name to the new name, ie say TATAMI. All references to the default are then replaced by TATAMI. Make sure that the extracted TMC file for TATAMI has been placed in the _stages folder. Autolink and stage swaps and edits: For video keyiing purposes- green, blue, red, yellow, chromo key etc: This refers to a plain coloured background which can then be removed or made transparent. Thus the characters can go anywhere in the universe, as exampled by some of the screen shots, which are based around video sequences that I have created. There is some fantastic free software out there on the Internet, given freely by people who develop or extend the software because they are interested, and not for the sole purpose of making money. My appreciation for this free software is demonstrated by the screen shots in some small way. QUERIESPrivate Paradise movies. Is there any way to stop the timer for the movies, esepcially when used with the F1 slow motion setting. Private Paradise movies: Is there anyway in which these can be looped. Private Paradise movies: Is there any way to switch off default camera motion. This only applies to a few of the movies. Stages: Can anyone rig up for me a plain background version of Dojo as per the colours as mentioned above, for keying purposes. I can get the floor dealt with but the actual stage background doesn't seem to have a texture associated with it. Thanks to everyone for the time and effort spent on the various modifications. I won't even attempt to give individual credits as I don't want to spend the next few weeks typing. It is far more fun to play. funtcase Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 a small irritation that isn't in the autolink readme (or google translate just didn't translate very well) is the character select screen.when you choose a character, the selection grid disappears and you see the characters whole body, in the unmodded game the grid never changes. It seems to be tied to the d3d9.dll, so maybe an entry in the d3d9 ui txt can return it to normal, or can i delete this dll without affecting other autolink features?
