Cursed Loot - Rubber Suit won't come off

So my character was tied up with a rubber suit using a Cursed Loot event. At the time, I didn't feel like dealing with a restrained character, so I used the "Free Me" option in CL's MCM, and everything came off. I had another cursed loot event and the suit was reequipped. Activating the suit while equipped doesn't unequip it, nor does it activate the normal menu to get out of a device. I cannot equip any other lockable suits onto my character. Upon doing so, the rubber suit reequips itself. Dropping the item (while equipped or unequipped) doesn't do anything. Since then, the only way to get the suit off is to type "player.unequipall" into the console.

 

I tried finding similar bugs on the forums but couldn't. Any help is appreciated.
