Game crashes after "Dead is Dead" death

So the problem is, when I die and the Dead is Dead message "you are dead, your legacy will be remembered blablabla" pops up, instead of the game going back to main menu, it crashes.

What is supposed to be happening is after you die and the message pops up, your screen should slowly go dark and then you return to main menu.
