New Vegas: "Pussyfism"

Something I've been wanting to try for a while has been a pacifism run, no kills of any kind.

 

However, one of the things that has always made it a challenge has been the random fights. But, thanks to the Lovely people behind Sexout we now have the Ability to yield. Start combat, yield by any means necessary, get out before they change their minds.

 

Hence the "Pussyfism" challenge name.

 

Of course, this goes and removes much of the challenge behind the game, you can after all stop the combat. So, time to liven things up a bit. If sexout can make the game too easy, then it can also counter it aswell.

 

If anyone fancies joining me, heres what I am planning on using for all of the settings:

General Settings:

Hardcore: On.

Difficulty: Max

Saves: Only when stopping a play session (or when sexout looks like it might be forcing a CTD)

Autosaves: Off.

Sexout settings:

 

Items:

Max Credits stolen on Rape: 100%

Item Damage: on

Item theft: on

Limb damage: on

 

 

Combat Rape:

Max Health: 100%

Rape Chance: 100%

 

Just to make combat that little bit deadlier, items get stolen from the player that would be very useful in hardcore. Just imagine your last bottle of purified water being stolen from a rapist, and your last cap given to stop a raider from killing you. Alternative start is there to keep things that little bit more fresh, if I have to see doc mitchel again I think I might eat my own face, and taking down fast travel to force you into fighting situations, but the alternative scheme to allow you some freedom of movement.

 

The entire idea is to turn it into more of a survival game than it was before. Any character can survive hardcore with a good amount of caps and a head on their shoulders. But what happens when you remove gratuitous amount of money you can gain, add the fact that you can be stolen from and damaged? Resources for you become far more rare. The player might find themselves whoring themselves out at Gammorah just for a bite to eat and some dirty water to drink.

 

As far as quests are concerned, the ones where you have to kill an NPC in order to complete said quest, it is up to the player. I am going to still do them, but not the direct, guns a'blazin approach. The target has be killed in some unconventional way. Sandman perk, sneaking explosives onto them, getting someone else to kill them. The idea is that it is going to be another thing to think about when playing the game.

What mods are you running? I'm thinking stuff like populated wastelands/casinos etc might make this challenge a whole lot more difficult, for instance getting into Primm should be quite tough with 20+ powder gangers to deal with...

 

Also, do you use a mod for payment/discounts with sex at shops?

It's not so much of a challenge to the community as it is an alternative to the way that the game is played. Just makes things that little bit more interesting if you have already been through the game and played iwth the whole power armour and minigun combination of things.
