Changing Body Slots of Items

Is there a detailed guide as to how to modify what slot an item uses? I've been trying to change the newmiller/AH1 navel piercings which use slot 54 to slot 58, but even after I've changed the slots in the Armor and ArmorAddon properties in CK, and then modified the _0 and _1 nif files in nifskope, I'm still getting an invisible mesh and the slots haven't changed at all for the piercings.

 

Can someone point out what I'm doing wrong? I've attached the nif files should someone want to take a look at them.
