Fresh Install, Suggestions for Skin/Skeletons please!

I am now re-installing mods and what not and I know there are a lot of mods out there for skeletons, skins, meshes, etc.

 

What should I get as far as female and male skins? Skeletons? Is Growlf's Universal Skeleton still the best one to use?

 

There was a mod I heard of some time ago that changed bodies around. So that you would have different heights, belly sizes, breast sizes, etc. Is that still around and does it work with Lovers stuff? Actually, I think it is this mod. I think I am going to be using Robert's Male Body mod if it is still around, I *love* the bellies on the mod. I was able to find one of my older threads about glossy female bodies and DogOnPorch was kind enough to offer up this mod which I think I will try this time around. Things as far as females anyways change so much though that I am not sure which really works well with Lovers still. I want to start making voices that will work especially well with

Nusbie's amazingly beautiful animations. As bad as my memory is I *do* remember my jaw dropping when his stuff started up.

 

Anyways (sorry got off topic) suggestions would be very welcomed.

Well, if you are looking for Body Mods its definitly your own choice what to take, but here are a few examples:

For females:

-ZKEC http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/40956

-Roberts female http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/15624

You can also use SetBody to try some different body types.

For males:

Roberts MaleBodyReplacer http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/40532 is the only one I know, but I think it contains all you need.

If your looking for better textures you may find http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/20022 and http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/38243 useful(for HGEC).

If you got the time, I would look throgh this archive http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/searchresults/?cat=29, it contains most of the meshes and textures on the nexus (but there are also many not body-related ones).

 

I still use Growlfs skeleton without any problem, but I dont know if there is anything newer.

 

Different heights will cause some alignment problems within the animations, because most of them were made for a scale of 1.0. It looks like that mod changes the scale of many NPCs in many different ways, so it will probably be hard (if not impossible) to get some overall "good" animations. But aside from the "height"-problem I think it would work.

Too bad that there is nothing new on the scene, I guess with Skyrim out people have just moved on. I wasn't aware of the ZKEC thing though I might have a look at it as long as it works with BBB. I don't care about bouncing butts that's not necessary for me, I love jiggly bits but mine does enough for both myself and my character I don't care too much about that. I was surprised at the Growlf comment though, the last time I checked everyone was all over Coronerras Maximum Compatibility Skeletons. Ok, I think I will go with Growlf if that is the big one now. I remember Greg saying to use the Controllable one if I got that correctly. Thank you for such a thorough answer though honestly, I have been gone for a bit and going back and froth makes it harder for me.

 

Oh and thankies for the link to Set Body. I love love LOVE that Manga Body for kicks every once in awhile.
