Fallout 4 wont start

Hi guys, I'm abit new to the modding scene for fallout 4. Recently there was a patch to official fallout to 1.7.10 and i can't seems to load my fallout anymore, it just crashes upon start up with black screen. i have updated f4se to run for 1.7.10. do i need to update my mods as well or isit something else?

You might want to supply the usual info like: mods installed, computer specs (maybe), and either a description of the problem or a crash log then you can get more help than " what's it doing?" type of response.

For me it is usually an out-of-date looksmenu plugin or out-of-date in-game esp explorer plugin. Both have been updated, along with f4se to work with 1.7.10
