Skyrim crashing, please help

Hello, 

 

I hope it's okay to ask, but I could use some help. Skyrim has been randomly crashing and I'm not sure why. It runs fine for quite awhile then it crashes. Usually it crashes when I'm wondering about in the world and sometimes when I enter into a building. I'm using an anti crash mod, running in windowed mode. I've sorted with LOOT. I'm wondering if the issue is that I'm running too many scripts? Any ideas and suggestions would be apprecaited.

Hello.

For sure you are using a lot of mods.

 

The crashes, when they are not systemic (they happen always in the same conditions) may be related to 3 main, global, problems:

* Run out of memory (and it means 3GB if your OS is 32bits, or 3.5GB if you have a 64 bit Windows)

* Run out of graphic card memory

* Collapsing of the VM (in this case check your papyrus log, if it is more than a couple of MBs, then this is the problem.)

Hi.

Go in your Mod Organizer folder.

Inside there is a folder called Profiles.

Go in the folder of the profile you are using.

Edit the file "skyrim.ini"

 

Be sure you have a section called [Papyrus], with inside this definition:

 

[Papyrus]
fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0
bEnableLogging=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation=1
The Papyrus.log will be inside C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\

Thank you you're being really helpful! I did not expect such hastey help. I'll post the log when I get my next crash if that's okay? I'll use spoiler tags as with before. I'm currently trying out a fix so we'll see.

Okay I've attached each of the logs I have in my documents. I tried a memory patch using SKSE through mod organizer found here, https://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/540740500921363665/ and used this mod to document my memory usage rate http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50471/? But my memory usage did not seem to go past 256 mark which is the default for the vanilla game I believe. If you know by chance what am I doing wrong with the patch. I copied and pasted the text provided in the steam forum breakdown, but to no avail.

I found what looks like a fix. The memory issue at least has been fixed I used this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50305/? as the SKSE edit was not working but this mod did. So hopefully it fixes my crashes makes them less frequent. I'll give an update after some time of playing. But at the current mark I was able to spawn around 50 guards at the windhelm docks and kill them all without crash. Serious lag but no crash.

I've got a similar problem here.

Although my game crashes now every few minutes.

When starting a fresh playthrough I don't get CTDs but it seems the rate at which the CTD occur increases the longer I play the save.

The crashdumps from my last few CTDs got a size of 0kbs, so pretty much worthless.

I've also uploaded my papyrus.log.

 

Can someone tell what's wrong with my game? D:

You have sorted with LOOT correct? An I used this fix it helped some, but not completely. Worth a shot though.

Thanks for the video, it helped me getting a step closer to my problem.

I've already been using SSME and after installing Memory Block Log it actually showed me the results.

The memory usage was well below the current limit of 512MB, but the Scrap Heap hit the 256MB limit.

I ended up increasing both limits and Memory Block Log showed the increase, but it had no visible effect on my game.

 

By the way, my graphics card has only 1GB of memory and every now and then I encounter objects and armors with no texture (either black or purple in color).

Could this be related to my problem?
