Nepro Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 JMs Bar Fights http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/6416 Is there way to tweak this mod? When I happen to enter a inn in Chorrol those new NPCs fought with everybody, not just with themselves :C It's crazy resulting in people in the inn getting involved in the fight, then fight takes peeps outside where guard put everyone down or even me :C Can someone link me tutorial on how to code those bar brawlers, so they fight only amongst themselves? Or at least make those people with very low HP so they knock out each other very quickly. There's one esp that make the inn brawlers mortal, but it kills immersion.

Taking a cursory glance at the esp in the construction set, it doesn't use any scripts that I can see. It looks like it uses an aoe frenzy and destroy weapon spell (how, I'm not sure exactly). I'm kind of new to messing with mods myself, so I'm not sure how you'd proceed. To get a start, though, I'd check out http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php/Main_Page especially http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php/Category:Oblivion_Script_Extender to understand how to get Construction Set up and running (and so it understands OBSE-required scripts). Figure out how to find things in CS by playing around with it. Take a look at a few simple mods to see how they work. Look up what you don't know in the cs wiki. You'll be addicted in no time, promise. Let me know if this helps you at all.
Nepro Posted June 6, 2012 Author Posted June 6, 2012 Thx for information :3 as soon as I will have room for modding in my schedule I will investigate and see what I can do :3
