lehtv Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 First off, I'm a noob at this, so bear with me. I'm doing this for the light imperial armor. I'm getting stuck at Bodyslide crashing when I try to open a preview window of my custom sliderset for the remodeled armor. It crashes when I assign .bsd files to the armor in the sliderset. I have no idea what to do with the .bsd files though. Do I need brand new .bsd files for the armor to work with, or can I use existing CalienteBody .bsd files? Here's what my sliderset looks like so far: part 1 http://i.imgur.com/wz0OM.png part 2 http://i.imgur.com/TeMXc.png I got the Armor00, Body00 and Panty labels from nifskope. Ask what info you need, give what tips you have, thanks

Calliente is making a tutorial for it since it's a complex procedure. Might want to wait for that~
lehtv Posted May 8, 2012 Author Posted May 8, 2012 Does that involve editing nif's in Blender (a process I'd rather not spend time learning), or just using BodySlide? I thought the Remodeled armors are already compatible for 'import' to BodySlide as the armor and body meshes already fit each other. Maybe I'm thinking about it too simplistically.

[/quote'] Yeah, I'm pretty certain you need to model the armor in blender or 3dsmax so that it fits each of the provided body models for each of the different standard sliders (I forget where they are, but they are included with Bodyslide). Without doing this a slider will have no point of reference to properly morph the solitary feature that it is meant to morph. Sorry for the huge lack of detail, but I'm not near a computer to check the specifics out.
