Is it fine to combine texture mod together?

So I have a long list of texture mod and some of the mods only retexture like 2 or 3 objects. I wanted to save some space in the MO list so is it fine if I can merge nonconflicted textures mod together? For example I installed a food retexture mod and then a soul gem retexture mod and merged it into the same folder. I keep track of the mod combining by writing down the notes in MO and it so happen the mod are by the same author so I just named it a collection.

Yeah, it should be fine, especially so if the textures don't conflict. I myself combine various types of textures all the time.
