mac2636 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016  Should the default texture from the Skyrim out fit line up correctly with the converted mesh?  you only convert mesh from Skirim to FO4 texture temple stay the same so will work  Thank you for the response. Still trying to learn so I imagine I messed something up in the conversion because the textures in my conversion do not line up correctly. I will try again from start to finish to see if I can find where they get messed up.
mac2636 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Still having issues with the textures not lining up.  Here are my steps. Any obvious mistakes?  Export obj using NifSkope      Do I just ignore the notification "No NiNode, NiTriShape, or NiTrisStrips is selected. Entire scene will be exported."?   New project in Outfit Studio       Scaled shape      Copy bone weights via right clicking each part of the outfit in the right pane       Conform all        Set base shape       Load reference       Conform all again       After assigning texture Texture lightened for easier visual      Â
mac2636 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 did you set materials BGSM ? Haven't gotten that far yet. I just assigned the individual textures inside Outfit Studio.
mac2636 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Found my issue. Really dumb on my part, but when I was editing the texture to make it lighter and easier to see in screenshots I inadvertantly unchecked generate mip maps, so it was an issue with the texture not the mesh.
