igora Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 helloo ! i was wondering how to make transparent clothes with blender. i'm creating an armor and i need to make some pieces "see trough" ( not for the nipple ) ! any idea where i could find some tutorial or the main idea on how to do that ? thanks in advance. anubis Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 if you're asking about doing it blender for some rendering work, i dunno. but if you planning to put your clothes ingame after you finished it with blender (Oblivion/FO3/FNV/Skyrim)you can simply add NiAlphaProperty with nifskope. in nifskope RMB your curent mesh (NitriShape/Nitristrips) - Node - Attach Property - NiAlphaProperty. link it up into the mesh that you want to be transparent with adding the NiAlphaProperty number to the mesh properties, set the flaq and threshold number to one that suits you.
