Need help finding solutions for weather issues.

For the longest time, I've used RLO. It's beautiful and realistic but.. some of the weathers always bothered me. Specifically the fog. It always looks as if im swimming in murky water, it's a bit immersion breaking and unrealistic. I wouldn't mind using CoT but the color of the sky always bothered me. Too blue. Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this totally minor and yet complex issue im having? :X Cannot use ENB's, so please don't suggest them or ICBINE. (Unless there happens to be one that works with an Intel HD 4000 video card .)
