DonQuiWho Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Goubo had a really nifty feature in his original version of 'Defeat' which allowed you to 'carry off' an NPC to a different location. Although you could deposit the NPC anywhere (I think), in 'Defeat' he had a custom, scripted, location with cells, prisoner register etc. I've asked him on his 'Dirty Deeds' thread if he was planning to/could do somehing similar for that, but I'm not sure how high up his list taht might be. However, what I had in mind doesn't have to have all the prison cells to transfer NPCs into, or the ledger record or the like. A simple, standalone, mod with just the carrying bag/sack would do. Just some sort of holdall etc that your PC can carry, into which they can pop any NPC they can catch in a state of being asleep, unconscious, or paralysed, and which they can then use to carry those NPCs around Skyrim until they find the place they want to let them out again. To be able to add more than one NPC would be good, but if a lot of trouble, even being able to carry just one would do! And if, on being taken out of the bag, they could be in a 'tied up' state, as per the Defeat version, or using the Zaz animations used in the Display Model mod that would be a huge bonus I can't find anything like this, in either concept or functionality, anywhere else, and it was just perfect in concept - especially for the likes of sneaking round Whiterun on a dark night LOL I really haven't a single clue as to how to begin to write a mod, or I'd have tried it myself. Is this something that would be unduly difficult to do? Or something that could be knocked out over a couple of evenings? Anyone out there inspired enough to try their hand?
DonQuiWho Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 Before this drops of the face of the earth entirely as the result of a total lack of enthusiasm from the qualified masses, might there be anyone out there at all interested in trying this?
AmusedBeyondWords Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 There exists a mod .. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21454/? Now I am an amateur at Skyrim modding. Plain and simple. But I imagine that one can choose simply to teleport 'target' instaed of 'player' and do something similar. Have a room somewhere that is unconnected. Move someone tied to Room X, then flag the bag as 'occupied' and increase the weight by 150. Or similar.

I'm not certain this would do quite what I had hoped for, but I'll have a closer look to see what might be done with it In the absence of anything else, I was thinking about 'cheating' a bit and using this http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43653/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D43653%26preview%3D&pUp=1 Maybe something will pop up in due course :-)
