Can Editing Your Characters Stats Cause Save Corruption?

I'm on a 4 hour play through mod testing right now, everything went smooth until I used the bat command on a text file I created to give me stats and items. Now the game is unstable as fuck and all of my saves after that point are corrupt. 

 

Should this happen? This isn't the first time I've done this and I've never had problems with my save data before, and I'm not running any new mods that should affect this.

Edit: Move along folks, I was retarded and messed up my load order by using loot and not configuring metadata for two of my mods.
